I agree VV but convinced we need a deal to move the SP “dial” - hoping for excellent data plus news of a deal. However I can’t say I’m not concerned that there has been little activity or movement on the share price which I would have expected had good news been in the offing , or is Scancell a really ‘tight ship’ ?

Many of you will have spotted the lead article on the front page of today’s Times,admittedly specific mention is made of personalised immunotherapy, but if Scancell’s data is as good as we all hope the publicity we could receive may be “off the scale” - I really hope our PR people are ready to “shout from the rooftops”!

Chester and Tfan, many thanks for your thoughts which I appreciate. I pay a lot of attention to your posts and several other posters, Burble, Bermudan, Cleanerworld etc, too many to mention, which is why I am still invested in Scancell, and if I want to supercharge my optimism I simply click onto Inanaco on the other board!! As you say ‘we are nearly there’!! HAGW

Not an experienced investor in this particular field but my gut feel is that even with, hopefully, excellent data news/figures etc before the end of the month, the only thing that will move the SP significantly is a deal. How many times over the past few years have we had positive news and the SP regresses? Nevertheless excellent data makes a deal sometime in the future much more likely so trying not to be too negative……..perhaps just getting a bit weary and I have only been invested for coming on 6 years!!

During the webinar Phil was asked about the SP. and he referred to “external factors” which, he implied , was suppressing the share price! What is he referring to ?? It was the only part of the presentation that left me feeling just a touch anxious !

If these are buys why is the SP falling GF? Would love to think you are correct but surely the MM can’t manipulate to that extent? I’m at a loss to explain why the SP is languishing at such low levels given all the positive news/indications and, to be frank, it does concern me.

What did you make of the final Q&A piece on Institutional Investor interest? Obviously they can buy on the open market, or by block buying. Sath mentioned they were exploring ways of getting new Institutional investors on board ‘at the right time’, for instance would Redmile dilute their holding and if so at what price?

I would agree - very professional. No BS from Phil, but a tad disappointed at Sath’s SP figure of 25p!

It’s all completely beyond me! Everything appears to be on a really positive trajectory but, as you say, the dial isn’t for shifting. I can only think that timescales to commercial viability still seem some way off, so unless some big Pharma shows us the colour of their money, I guess we will bump along at these SP levels.

Is it possible that the vagueness of the RNS is intentional ? If it referred to new or updated data would the company not be required to release the information now, whereas it may/will have more impact if it’s produced at the prestigious AACR? To regurgitate existing data at this event would seem to be an opportunity missed…..?

That is something that does concern me. Given the positive news to date, particularly over the past year, why are we not seeing an increase in buy ins? What, or when, will kick start the SP?

Great find Johnny - you can sense the excitement and anticipation in her voice when she talks about an off the shelf vaccine. Very encouraging at a time when I was getting a touch weary with the lack of news!

Vdog, I can only assume as it looks like we are 4/6 months before potential transformational trial news, traders are looking elsewhere for quicker gains. My shares are in a “bottom drawer” and unlikely to ‘see the light of day’ before July/August ……25, I hope!!

I agree Chester but I’ve just pulled my “big boy” pants a touch tighter today! Regrettably my average is way higher than the current SP so I really have no option other than to ‘hang in there’. It really is all or nothing for me.

‘It beggars belief’….I can feel your frustration but I take comfort by the fact that the constant selling of significant chunks of shares is not a reflection of poor trial results, thank goodness, indeed I’m surprised the SP hasn’t fallen further! It does however suggest to me that we are looking at several months before “the needle shifts”! Patience has never been more important as we finally move towards the end game. I put that final sentence in more for my benefit and I have only been invested for 6 years! Chicken feed for some!!

I do so hope you are right Bojo, but my gut feeling is that there will be nothing in the interim results, or commentary, that will move the SP northwards and Phil and Sath will simply do their best to ensure no further decline in the SP. To me the lack of activity , particularly buying, suggests we are some way off from transformational news……time will tell!
