Funnily enough I was thinking something similar - interested to hear any views. Not expecting any transformational news as far as SP is concerned on Thursday. Very little trading activity

Great news and down we go again! I’m repeating myself but I don’t see the SP going anywhere (other than possibly down) until we see the colour of somebody’s money. The science is great, potentially stunning and each trial update has produced positive results but it looks like deals are what the market is waiting for. I’m relatively relaxed, although my average is significantly higher than the current SP, and have put my shares in the bottom drawer confident our time will come……just not sure when!

I agree KT, it’s the way it was done. I understand that they require to raise funds but to release the good news in the morning which resulted in the SP going over 15p, in the knowledge that hours later you could effectively pick them up for 10.5 is , as you say, underhand. I have written to Scancell today to express my disgust at the way PI’s have been treated , plus to enquire who sold off large chunks of shares throughout the day - it seemed odd given the positive news that morning but now we know that, almost certainly, somebody had been given the nod. Wouldn’t trust them as far as I could fling them. I appreciate I won’t get a reply but it made me feel better!!

I agree EE indeed IMO it’s worse than that - they put out a positive RNS in the morning which pushes the SP to over 15p (which only came back because of the seller) in the knowledge they were going to put out an offer later in the day at 10.5p!! Taking PI’s for mugs….very poor.

While I’m on a rant,plus I’m a touch p.ssed off with developments today, it shouldn’t be too difficult to identify the seller today who was disposing of relatively large chunks of shares and who almost certainly knew what was coming down the line!! Given the news this morning it seemed very odd to me that someone was selling off in 30,000+ chunks. I don’t believe someone can be that lucky!!

That’s me Bojo and yes, I am hurting! I am not an experienced investor but have “bought” into the science big time. Only myself to blame but my glass of wine doesn’t taste quite as good tonight!! Feel I have been taken for a bit of a ride.

Must admit the market reaction to the news yesterday has been very disappointing ….. now down 11.40% on HL - I’m struggling to remain positive !!

Miavoce, I do hope you are correct but I feel the only thing that is going to see a positive move north for the SP is a deal, or deals……I think today supports my view.

Agree with you Miovoce, just a shame it ends on such a negative note - does nothing for the SP in the short term, but hopefully not long to wait for data and developments that will be transformational

BBob, would like to think you are correct but just don’t see it - constant big sells dampen any positivity in SP. Need good data and hopefully soon. HAGW

Scinv or whatever he calls himself has posted 14 times since 2.00pm - just filter him, he’s clogging up the BB with accusation of Lindy lying etc. You are very accommodating and understanding Bermudashorts but you are not getting the same respect in return.

DeAar, simply filter him and he can talk to himself. He adds nothing to this board, which otherwise I find interesting and very informative

My interest in Scancell came about as my wife was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and I was scouring the internet looking for some positivity ie new approaches to treating cancer. Scancell simply stood out as being quite unique in their approach and I decided to follow their progress. I then thought why not buy some shares, which I did towards the end of 2019 and I have accumulated further amounts since. My average is quite high, circa 18p and from an investment point of view, having had my money tied up in Scancell for 5 years, I would ideally like somewhere in the region of 80p - £1. More importantly my wife is in remission and I would dearly love Scancell to offer many other less fortunate sufferers similar hope.

Thanks EE, not experienced in this sector but what you and Moonparty say makes a lot of sense.

If the trial data is as impressive as we all hope do you not think Lindy would want to reveal all rather than her colleague? Perhaps I am placing too much emphasis on egos etc but she has been working towards this day for a long time.

Cpete, I think it’s just day traders deciding nothing material is going to happen over the next few days and deciding to sell at a profit - numbers of transactions is small and shares traded low so I’m not concerned about something brewing…..disappointing nevertheless.

Thanks Vdog, are you absolutely certain Scancell couldn’t do an NDA with an interested party, if say they had already made a cash bid, subject to further satisfactory trial data?? Can’t believe someone isn’t “all over this”!!

I’m probably wrong but if they are keen to progress deals, as currently have cash to fund until Q4 25 (which is not that far away) surely the sooner they release the trial results the better? Am I correct in thinking they couldn’t give interested party/parties information not yet released to shareholders etc
