If you are buying more GGP how does that stack up against your recent post....
RE: GGP Question16 Jul 2020 20:47
The LTH’s, and the people that know me personally here, know my situation, average of around 0.8p, and at 2.7p went all in with everything i have, and i mean everything, savings, investment and house.
Some say stupid, some say smart, only time will tell. Why’d i do it? Because to really live the life i want for me and my family, i had to take a shot, you dont really get to be free In life, unless you are financially independent, and you have to either be very lucky, or take a chance to achieve that at an early enough age, that you can enjoy it. I’ll be damned if im going to spend the next 30 years of my life sat at a crappy desk, working 8-6, missing my boy growing up, for some schmuk to get rich off my sweat and time.
So i loaded both barrels and made my move.
Now im sat on a frankly ubsurd profit, I’ve packed the 9-5 in, I take a “wage” from my holding here, and today, for the first time since that dip to 2.7p during covid, i sold some. 85,000 odd shares at 12.15 (2 trades) about £10k
Why? To de-risk? No.
Because im so damn sure of how this is going to play out, that my only “risk” currently, is that GGP is suspended pending an offer. This could go on for a few months like EUA recently, so i need a small bank of funds to tide me over when it happens, and im in no doubt, it is going to happen.
So now im sitting waiting patiently like everyone else for the fat lady to sing, and in 12-24 months, il either be writing a bio about how i went from “riches to rags”, or how i bought a lifetime of freedom, by taking a leap of faith!
