And by the way, does anyone truly believe the likes of UBS & Piper would allow EUA to be announcing they are actively involved in a deal if they were not. That would be complicity to mislead.
Further more they will not be actively involved for long and the fact Piper was mentioned this time must mean the legality side of things are being nailed down .
Have not got a scoobie on what the proposal is but for certain know it is close to being announced.

When the “Sake’ process ended in May DL Piper got no mention, only UBS were mentioned and in the context were being retained as sole advisor.
Reading between the lines at that point my concern was everything had come to a halt and the board ( as they said were focusing on the. New proposal, equals more time needed and obvious further delay.
The last RNS was clear, they are now actively involved which can only mean they are advancing with a deal.
The MMs know there is a further time lag until the deal is finalised.
The MMs know PIs. will be frustrated and nervous
The MMs know they have the time to shake out shares .
The MMs are doing that now.
If you have to sell then do
If you don’t then remain patient as this share will turn at some point.

I am waiting patiently to the end and sure if a deal is struck we should all be the happier for it. RAMP.

You may well be correct but I have read similar posts on every penny drop from 30p downwards.

Nonsense, a piddly 148k trade does not control anything.
What it is very likely to be is one of the few MMs who try and stay flat at end of day.
They will have (net) picked up those shares throughout the day at an average price lower than the UT trade so are happy to sell them to another (likely another MM) at below the true close price and bank a small profit.

Yesterday’s “ ramming speed” was a 0.70 rise up 4.4%

The fact is they have not said if they are or are not still working for us.
It is a fact the only mention that was made , was when sale process ended they mentioned UBS were being retained as sole advisor.
Take what you want from that.
My view is as the Process officially closed and as EUA were to focus on the new interest Piper and UBS were discharged until further required.
UBS in particular having been on a no sale no fee basis makes it a bit more interesting as am sure they would have liked the cost of the work done in the FSP to be rolled into the current proposal.

They found the peak high 30 range when buyers started to dry up ( that was fair value at the time and more risk fir buyers)
They got the excuses for dropping , Too high expectations on Scally initial results and GH selling.
Still making a turn on the down trend in full knowledge HAV news is so positive and big milestone announcements will be rolling in.
The lower the SP when it starts to head north then the more sellers at every step up they will get so more they will turn around at profit.

We have not always seen eye to eye but I have to say of the hundreds of comments about GH ‘selling’ your recent reasoned observations and take on the approach we should adopt was the the best of them all and typical of the quality you have brought to the GGP board.

So is the conclusion an insider in hardly a sophisticated way is hinting on who the potential buyer is.

EUA are going to sell sumfin and EUA are going to keep sumfin.
When they do we should all be happy.

It will change the dynamics with NC as we will become a mining competitor so not much use to NCM as an explorer of any future discovey.

If it is not to mine one of our licences the only other logical reason he is on board now as SD Will at some stage embark on the acquisition trail.
That is how his last company grew, acquiring near to mine projects.

If Newcrest are managing the mining of HAV why do we need a mining engineer, importantly at this stage?
Do we not trust NCM - discount that.
Do we know ( not officially yet) we have something else to mine. Could very well be.

Mining is a slow business, a purchase of assets or company that involves “potential “ is even slower..
Conclusion , get used to being patient or get out.

Agree with most of this apart from the Piper & UBS.
The RNS advising the close of sale process only mentioned UBS in the context they would remain as sole advisor to EUA. That does not mean they were instantly advising on the sole deal that EUA were focusing on.
DL Piper got no mention at all so my guess is they went back to their office to type out the invoicing and will be awaiting a call when required.
Patience still required here.

Came across that lifecycle piece a few years ago and could not find it on the occasions when I searched again.

If you are using the SP as a measurement of progress then you probably get the same result looking at NCM sp.
Logically with the bigger piece of the HAV pie whatever expectation you have for us should at least be mirrored in NCM or more , relative to shares in issue. It hasn’t.
That to me still indicates it is the future HAV milestone news that will drive the SP.
A discovery amongst other licences will be the rocket fuel.
