Depends how much govt help they'll get. Don't forget that the tin mining industry would almost certainly still be working if Tin prices had been as high as they are now

@KAF444 - a good spot, but not quite : if he keeps his original holding then dilution takes him from 4.2% to 3.4% , so basically he must have sold some to go below 3%.
We also have Neil Herbet, original holding 4.17% now diluted to 3.38%. Scirocco, we know, have sold down under 3%
I would expect more warrants to be converted and more top slicing from early holders hedging against bad 1st drill - its sensible

Above pasted from thetakeoverpanel.org.uk ..... but I have read different things on this.... that when offeror goes over 30% they must offer to buy the rest of shares at equivalent price to their last trade.
Maybe different rules for different markets ? a bit academic really since they've put in 67.5

@Tivman - if the deal gets voted down then surely Secker has to go. Either that or convince the shareholders why this deal was recommended. How can the present board deliver shareholder value if they think we're only worth 67.5p per share ?

@fjones - there are still plenty of warrants to be converted. Unless SCIR RNS themselves no way of knowing ?

From before the placing I have : M&G 19.8, Hanwa 5.5%, Igneous 4.4%, D&A 2.1%. So Credit Agricole, now 2.5%, bought in at the placing?
It was always my suspicion that an institution had bought in at 45p and was offloading at a loss. Have they been given the nod to start buying back now to cover their losses ?

@ PJonesy : Thomas Abraham - James and Josh Bluett were the two founders of Helium One. They were australian miners working in Tanzania. The company was going to start drilling in 2018 but it didn't. Abraham -Jones left the company and was replaced by experienced hand Ian Stalker, who then appointed Minchin who was previously at Scandivanadium. How much influence Solo Oil had in these appointments I cannot say; but they were a large initial investor in the company and had(and still have) a presence in Tanzania . Bluett is listed as a technical director of HE1 and both Bluett and Abraham-James are listed as significant shareholders in the company.
The above is my research only, but gives u some starting points to do your own DD. It may even be possible to contact Abraham -James.

Secker does say here that GF could go to 50% . So what's changed Peter ? why have GF changed their MO for this asset ?
If GF broke the 30% then they would have to make an offer equal to the highest share price in the last 12 mths - @67.5p. The fact that we didn't get some kind of takeover price(based on NPV) written in to the contract, makes me wonder how long this deal has been in the planning.
I cant see M&G or Hanwa voting for. Their %ages are diluted down now, but still 75% of votes cast will be needed, so if enough PI's vote no, then i think GF have to come back with better offer. Just my thoughts.

@KV3MC my back of envelope calcs say circa 50 million warrants left. They will be at different strike rates. From previous info 10M of these will be substantially more than 3p

When a takeover is announced, anyone with a holding of more than 1% should notify the market, and also notify of any trading they do. What I don't understand is: if the takeover offer is not strictly official at present, why are we seeing all these notifications? Doesn't really matter, but anyone know ?

Probably the best thing Secker did was to build the pilot plant. The product is proven at battery grade
If enough people take a long term view then the lowball offer can be knocked back. We can all play our part

We have lots of HE1 updates; what about some SCIR updates? whats the plan for this money ? The Elephant in the room with Ruvuma is the security aspect. We have Total pulling out of the area just across the border. Total is a company with good experience in high risk areas and they will get some sort of security deal in place to resume work... but it will take time. @FROGsLEGS - I would think any buyers in the shadows will need to be convinced on the security aspect first
