Cheryburn, you are absolutely correct. All the begging bowls were out throughout the covid crises, some justified, many just sheer greed. It reminds me of the clamour to get a claim in following the gulf of mexico disaster by a bunch of crooks, and by enlarge they got away with it.

Morning Meoryou, £4.60 has been a tough nut to crack and hold and perhaps now with a period of comparative calm and a safe pair of hands at the helm we will push on towards £5 by Christmas. We just need to get borrowing under control as soon as we can.

Having said that he bowed to pressure back in May and introduced a £5bn WT. If the countries finances are in such dire straits after the extraordinary costs associated with covid and of course the furlough scheme which was used and sadly massively abused by dishonest individuals and companies who should be named and shamed in my view. At the end of the day we cannot keep borrowing trillions as we have in recent times, the interest alone is mind boggling.

Hi Meoryou/Spights and all. Yes not too shabby is it., touched 465 today which was welcome. Oil holding well also. All looking good for very positive results, perhaps not as good as previous quarter but very strong nonetheless. Have a great weekend everyone
