I have already said I thought it was a typo by you and have corrected that. Are you saying Colour is saying everything is in need of replacement and update!?
I have recently changed my energy supplier. I asked every single one regards the monitoring of my existing smart meter. Without exception every one of them told me a software solution was being developed the Smets 1. Now they could be lying, although I don't see why,plus if you DYOR that seems to be something that is going on in the background. You now say "Several areas around the world are on second generation." So not failing just on second generation. I have a smets 1 meter that communicates currently so the Comms must be operational. The issue is no doubt with the Head End software which in my experience of software system can be overcome.
Confirm if you can where all these meters are failing and need replacement or except you are being a bit generous with the facts.
Not sure where I was being negative in my post,I did say I had used the opportunity to make a bit more profit and GAIN a few more shares on the recent drop.

Morning LTI. I think you will find nations are moving away from fossil fuels which included gas and towards renewables.
On that basis I would ask why India is not going for renewables rather than spending it running out gas pipelines.

Tony have you read all the info? It's a paid event and networking meet. Can you define why you think it's a high powered meeting? I think I may be missing something.

Hi ITT. Paid for event $400 a pop if you attend as a delegate. No doubt a more extortionate cost for a stand. Invited to a few of these when I was working. Regularly hosted at NEC and a couple of London venues. Basically a trade fair for networking I think.

All this talk for years about lighting surprised me somewhat I have to say. CCs main problem with their business plan around this is a simple virtually maintenance free inventIon from many years back.....it's called a daylight sensor. Cheap ,low cost and works for years and guess what...it turns a light on when it gets dark and off when it gets light without any fancy software .The old sodium lamps I would guess have already been upgraded almost everywhere for instant savings and all new lighting installed will be led . Do let's stop believing anyone needs fancy software to do such a simple task.

I have to say I agree. There is no reason the company cannot provide regular trading updates, they choose not to. If JC doesn't know enough about what's going on as CC are "down the pecking order"to quote Tony, he is in my opinion out of his depth. JC should in his position know realistically what's going on, enough at least to provide accurate and timely updates ,it's called business management. The company has never,in my view been capable of managing shareholders expectation. That said an order is an order, the size and impact is something else.

Morning Tony. The review share options were done to benefit the directors and take as much out of the company as possible. Its worth remembering these are options. If they don't teach 14p they don't need to buy them,zero cost to them. If they go in excess of 14p they buy at the fixed price and clean up. Win win, nice if you can get it. Aimo of course. As I've said before it leaves a bad taste.

And you ITT. Backed Italy at 7/1 so got plenty of interest this weekend for both teams. Probably back England if feasible to cover my original stake.

I've stopped for a while now until news although never say never. Concentrating on my divi paying shares which have stood up pretty well considering with the exception of BT which suspended the dividend.
If this ever reaches the supposed 50p let alone a £1 my grandkids will be well chuffed.....me more so lol.
My bet on Italy gives me an even money chance of a return at least!
