Our arrangement is with the CFS bank ............lol
Doubt it will affect CC
Colour. They get all their cash from us shareholders lol. Ni doubt will be used as an excuse somewhere along the line though.
Thanks ITT looks like you are correct. I'm sitting patiently waiting for (hopefully ) positive news like most here. At least the delay should give those who need it time to move their shares into an ISA should they wish.

Judging by the last paragraph I wouldn't be worried about anything out of this too soon Tony . Looks like they already have over 500m connections.
Morning LTI.
I absolutely agree....hence the final paragraph of my post.
Morning LTI , all.
As I suspected this is all around reduction of R and D costs and ensuring numbers are deliverable. This leaves CC to concentrate on the important things such as winning orders and becoming an SME.
My thoughts are that the last three RNSs are very subtle and quite significant. If you care to read between the lines.
Morning LTI, all.
I still think it's about functionality and interoperability. The link attached gives an oversight. Anything that works on a network has to be compatible. I'm sure many will remember the early days of desktop PCs when one sound card or video card etc wouldn't work with a specific piece of desktop hardware lol.
The below link gives an overview I think. Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi LTI. I tend to agree. It also makes for a more flexible solution. I'm sure CC could have developed a solution but the time ,cost , risk no doubt made it an unattractive proposition. As I alluded to in my earlier posts.
You would no doubt be amazed how many cross industry parts are in everything from cars to washing machines. The days of each manufacturer producing their own are a thing of the past. Far bette to tool up for a specific product and accept profit by numbers.
The numbers only apply to your personal investment, it depends on what price you bought in at and if you realised any profit. Numbers can reflect anything you want them to reflect dependant on the way you manipulate them.
Morning all.
My take is somewhat more simplistic. Cyan have ,in some cases been asked to provide additional functionality by the end user that is above and beyond what Omni can achieve without further development costs. Not all end users will require these functions and won't want to pay the additional cost for them. CC has I imagine therefore sourced the required component from elsewhere. This is not unusual. Most manufacturers these days buy in components made by speciality companies. Why would CC spend big bucks on R and D for what might be only a small percentage of their own deliverable? Silicon labs are specialists at what they do and keeping costs down is a numbers game. I have attached a link for the case study which I think explains. Just my opinion of course. https://www.silabs.com/applications/case-studies/leveraging-fg25-and-wi-sun-for-smart-metering-in-india
Wasred. Can I assume you will stop buying everything from China, India etc etc? Not suggesting it's right or wrong but It's not as black and white as some would lead you to think.

Director Share allocation time approaching... or am I being cynical?
company quotes ......too expensive.,...
If you read the whole article ut was relevant around telecoms I general.
Remember Tony.
A company can have a FA with more than one supplier and a supplier can have a FA with more than one company. I still think CCs FA puts them in a good position though It agrees what is effectively the terms of contract /cost etc should they be successful.
Morning Gizmo. In this case yes, but they are the biggest in India and nvolved everywhere. This will speed things up imo due to the politics behind it.
