Fact is though the BOD must have had a good idea this was required a while back when the SP was significantly higher. Or are we saying the BOD work day to day with their forecast?
Spot on Tony. I said a while back, for certain people this is a lifestyle company. It was clear to me there would be a raise " to finance future orders" and I'm no mystic Meg.
Like ITT I have given up and an just running with it.
I think we all know who will be offered the chance to take part....and it won't be tbe minions known as LTHs I doubt.
As I suspected always coming. Explains why the SP held at the 17 / 18p level then.
Morning ITT.
I would guess for compliance,CC would have to announce at the point the contractural commitment is signed off by the company purchasing CCs product. CC are just a provider to the larger entities for a specific part of the solution.
I have been involved with larger projects. Often a main contractor takes overall responsibility and provides a tender price to the client. The main contractor then gets bids for the various packages from a number of specialist companies on a bid basis. The main contractor then "value engineers" the tenders and manages these through the main contract. Until such point that one of the subcontract specialists are given a formal contract they haven't actually won the bid. On that basis
(CC being a subcontractor) wouldn't need to report as they haven't formally won the bid.
The HSL link was from December 2022 so recent. The question for me is , has the work commenced? If so who,s tech are they using? HSL could well be doing the preliminary works and not placed an order for the chosen Comms solution yet. My guess is HSL are at project preliminary/implementation stage. If using CC ,no doubt discussions have already taken place regarding supply. Maybe that was one of the further contracts JC was alluding to.
All of the above is only supposition of course. JC knows what bids CC are in and this stage and where they are currently sitting.
I always thought any significant orders would be Q2/3 this year as I suggested when the approvals were finalised last year. I still stand by that timescale, anything earlier will be a bonus.
Cheers ITT. So have the units for these meters been supplied already or outstanding ? Potentially another order imminently on the way?
Been busy so not sure if this has been posted. Didn't CC have a tie up with HPL?

Little bit of humour while we wait.....

Hi ITT. I guess it's like everything and depends on your strategy. I'm still convinced something significant will occur as soon as CC show any indication of significant success. Any of the providers using CC, products could just take them out. That is one of the assumptions I am considering.
Best of all with CC providing their tech to various partners and if it is as good as they say you could even have a bidding war for the company...........wishful thinking ......and .....back in the room lol
Morning ITT, Colour.
Sounds like an article by an accountant, always caveats and assumptions. Figures can reflect anything you want.
As they say in the article, if you put rubbish in you get rubbish out.
I always doubt these very long (10year plus) forecasts. A lot can happen, look at even the last 3 or 4 years with covid, Ukraine etc. I think I will stick to the week, yearly ,monthly review. Something is only worth what someone will pay for it at the time.
I sent them a note via their website. Seems they read them lol
Jyst shows what johers they are and how little research they must carry out. Why on earth anyone would pay for their research beggars belief.
Have to agree ITT. Nice little tick up this morning.
Morning Colour, Happy New Year. Should be interesting to see how the SP reacts this morning.
Wakey Wakey hands off snakey ....stand by your beds.....first order of 2023 in.
Roll call for all us miserable buggers Tony lol.
Spot on Colour, I truly worry there is a generation of wimps growing up. This woke nonsense will only end in tears believe me.
Let's hope this year is a Del boy one as you say Tony
Happy and Healthy New Year everyone....that's the most important thing in life.
"If he does not comment you ask why and when he does comment you ask why. So it is you that causes the unrest."
Sadly Tony it's not a case of what he says or when. It's a case of historical statements that factually rarely goes in the direction he suggests, the market takes what he says with a large pinch of salt it seems.
If his forecasts were accurate just now and then it would help the SP. Personally as I said I don't take much notice of much of what he says in his excitement moments. Talk is cheap, money buys houses.
If only it were that simple Tony. I think LTI mentioned " sharpening pencils " In final negotiations everyone has to do that and take their share of the pain. I would say if CC are partnering with the majority of bidders this could turn out to be to their advantage.
Sorry Tony missed your bit about contracts. The bidders will present their bid and solution. All bids will be reviewed by the client, then if there is little to choose between them ,the fun starts. It's what I used to call negotiation, some bidders will move ,some won't. I have even seen a live online auction of the successful bidders bidding against each other to get the best and final price . At least that's my experience , in India ,who knows.
