The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
I`m afraid the source of "the rummer" has to remain annonymus but suffice to say it was via a third party. There are always people who will ramp up and ramps down in this casino so its a personal decision. I have just loaded up again on that basis.
Whether I am throwing good money after bad remains to be seen but once things settle PFC should be around the 870p as long as POO remains near the $50 mark .
it must be the shorters getting out since Enq & PMO are only marginally up in comparison. The shorters have smelt something.
My other observation is that normally this site is very busy with comments and in the past 2-3 hours it has gone dead quite !!
Does this indicate that a fair % of the commentators here may be shorters and so busy doing their bit now that they have no time to comment ? Come on prove me wrong .
Seems everyone wants to buy this now and demand is very high. Does this mean the shorters are trying to buy this to repay their loans and get out of it before they loose even more money. They must know something. Its awfully quite on this site at the moment so I assume everyone is trying to buy and not sell.
Russian business sale. Does anyone know if there was any mention of distributing funds to share holders following the sale of the Russian arm of the business at any time ? I cannot seem to find any info on it !
Seems very similar to the moves of Halfords who yesterday also posted good results and spiked momentarily only.
I consider KGF have done the responsible thing regarding the dividend due the the present global situation and are holding onto as much funds as possible since we do not know how / when things will return to normality.
But out of all other retail businesses except food & Halfords, KGF are probably a good bet for investment and as this gradually dawns on investors, we should see a steady climb in the sp as more investors come on board.
Personally I can see a sp of 360P easily within the next 5 months.
I suppose the reason they have not paid a dividend is that they are being cautious in these difficult times globally and preserving their reserves which is what I would have done. But I think this makes them even more investable since they have adopted a responsible approach. The drop is due to sellers & profit taking but it should bounce back to say 290 - 310p
Seems there were hopes of a dividend which has not materialized and hence disappointed some. So some profit taking, but where else besides TESCO are they going to put their money for growth ?
We might have a similar move tomorrow (Wednesday) to that of Halfords ie: +8% . So keep an eye on Halfords tomorrow
which may give a clue as to what may happen to KGF
In the 25th March update, I noticed the following wording relating to the Dividend "Suspension of the dividend" and not
cancellation. So is it possible that tomorrow HFD may announce not only the interim but also a "special" dividend for December !! That would be nice. If they do decide on this , I would guess the total may be around 11 to 12 p
So lets see what happens tomorrow but either way I`m not selling for anything below 315p for the next year or two.
Any views on what SP we can expect to see on the 18th ? Anyone ?
I suppose most investors would have moved money to other shares which showed greater "instant" potential as a result of the "Good News" and hence bye passed TSCO. Once things settle, it will be obvious what good value TSCO is and we will see a gradual rise up to , I estimate 263P (I want)
