Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
I was hoping for it to end at around the 20p mark and then onto 30p next week and 40p the week after. But unfortunately it seems investors "took profits" by selling ... ! my question is: why do they do this when there is so much more to gain if they remain invested and waite .. at least until I have sold and made my profit before they sell and drop the price. I wish I knew how this all worked. I really would benefit from some insider snippets.
Shame it was not the 13th but in reality the 12th since it could have gone up 9 pence today if investors thought
it was tomorrow and kept buying today. Which would means I could have received the dividend and the price increase.
Lets try it again next year.
Brindy; My Hargreaves Lansdown site shows ex. Dividend date as tomorrow (12th). !! Where did you see it as the 13th ?
I see Homebase are up for sale. Could this have assisted in the 6.3% increase of KGF`s share price today ? and how much further can this company go .
What exactly is the reason for this massive jump anybody ? Is there some news that is not yet in the public domain ?
Thanks.
Am surprized that this share has dipped down by approx. 7% so far today ! I assume Halfords will remain open for business during Lockdown II. Any views on the reason for the dip anyone ?
Canaccord should be a bit braver and do what Barclays did today and set a target price of 9,600 P !!!! obviously a typing error on the Hargreaves Broker round up site but I would be happy with half that thank you.
Tommo: Oh yes its definately worth a nibble since it has a very high entertainment value ( a real roller coaster ride).. you will love it. I am still holding shares which I purchase around year 2013 at 1786p and kept buying shares right down to the 200p mark until I eventually ran out of funds. Luckily I only live on the second floor since if it had been a bit higher, I may have considered wending my debt !! So; like all investments you have to weight up the risk but if I was thinking of an investment, I would look at HL. , TSCO & HFD which of course I am also invested in !
Good luck.
I note from the recent annual results a statement that said:
· " When the Board believes the time is right, it will implement a dividend policy based on a dividend cover of 2.5 times"
My question therefore is: Is it possible that at todays AGM meeting, they may introduce the "special /final" dividend
that is normally in October ??
Any responses ?
Thanks
I have been buying for the past hour in small amounts as the price fluctuates with no difficulty.
Am willing to help anyone here having trouble buying since I can buy some for you. Just state your budget
and preferred share price.
I can buy on Hargreaves.
This was a pleasant surprize this morning amongst all the other doom & gloom. I had invested a few months ago estimating that HFD could be amongst a handful of shares that may recover well during the COVID years. Glad i did not sell.
Should they re-introduce the dividend (total 18.57P) my calculations show that at a SP of 265p the return would be approx 7%
Which in these times of volatility, uncertainty and suspended dividends seems an excellent return.
Therefore I do not intend to consider selling at any price below say 280P
Please post any response to my thoughts above.
Thanks.
I just had a thought which i`d likes to share with others to ask their opinion , as follows:
Seems BlackRock have made an excellent return on their investment (bet) against PFC (& probably others) resulting in pain for us. So instead of hating them why don`t we love them instead ? How ? well: can we invest in BlackRock ? I am trying to find out if they are a listed company but not sure. The closest I have found is an EPIC called "BRGE" but they seems to be an investment trust company ! Does anyone else know if BlackRock are listed since I intend to buy some shares so that the lower PFC goes the higher BlackRock.... am I onto something here or blessed with an overactive imagination ?
Rosewall; A future price of 267p is a point where I have to make a decision whether to keep holding in the hope of the special dividend (Lotus sale) and timing of the normal dividend or dispose of say half`s of my shares depending on national & global events, news etc at that time. No doubt ,knowing my luck, none of it will happen anyway.
Anyone got news on the Lotus sale ?
