Jez I have never believed we would go long as you like to put it. It`s a decision thats not ours to take without the partners agreement and i don`t see that forthcoming there is i believe only one option with no plan B.

Jez I didn`t know you used the EBAY trading platform good luck to you. I know a couple who live close by who formed a partnership with local artisan potters/ jewellery makers they promote and sell for them seems to be a very lucrative partnership. But am rather surprised that there seems to exist some retail snobbishness towards EBAY i wonder if this extends to the use of downmarket sellers like Tescos,Morrisons, Sainsburys.etc.? Problem with being snobbish it tends to narrow ones view of the world to the point of Ignorance. If i have caused offence simply ignore the ramblings of a postwar comprehensive student/halfwit.

Jobbs Agreed i have always believed a buyer will be found and the time this marketing has taken confirms my belief all be it very frustrating.

Jobbs Do you really believe if a buyer is not found we will be allowed to continue popping more holes in the desert in the hope of finding more gas before we could even consider that option we would need the agreement of ONHYMN, SCHL and i don`t believe that would be forth coming. Our only saving grace will be TE5 and the hope the M/Gov. have the belief we are capable of bring it into production. More exploration drilling prior to that being achieved will not be an option.

C/Ps I believe they can be structured in a way that provides choice to the investor. You can choose to accept a larger one off payment or a reduced figure for going down the cp route whether this will apply here of course is any ones guess.

Table Absolutely agree i have never had issues with SOU operationally O/G exploration is what it is and what was said in the past is best left there all that matters now is a decent outcome for all. Time for all to move on to whats important.

Table You ask a question of people "did greed over come rational thinking" or was it much simpler than that and people believed what they were being told by a CEO and his BOD?. As you say it has no relevance now to what the eventual outcome will be but i do take issue with people trying to some how justify the circus we witnessed. Lyndon I have not mentioned whether his raising of expectation were legal or not but to believe he is capable of delivering on the outrageous statements made during those rampfests is quite frankly astonishing but good luck with that belief. Hubris has only one conclusion thats Nemisis which is what we witness now.
