This is my take (just a bit of fun). NYCT is the Evergiven ship. Stuck in mud by its heavy load (being mm's).Lots of experts join forces to resolve the problem ( all the hard working brilliant minds who research and share there knowledge with us on this board). 400 ships floating and waiting worrying about there cargo(PI's on this board who have a lot invested) Evergreen(NYCT) Now freed and on route to its destination as with all the backlog of ships (us) following and ready to offload ( Or stay on board) CAN'T WAIT TIL WE DOCK

Rikkitikki. I did open an ISA with a J Bell 1months ago to do this but they said I would have to sell the shares and the wait 5 days for the funds to clear before transferring and buying the shares again. I wasn't prepared to take the risk but in hindsight?

Can anyone help me on this enquiry. I will have to pay CG tax on years profit. If I sell my NYCT shares at a loss so as to avoid the tax...could I then buy the shares back straight away on the same day and then carry them through to next year?

Porky9.It's a shame you have to spend your energy justifying yourself and am actually surprised at a couple of posters behaviour. All I can say is everyone has a right to their own opinion and the whole reason for that sites is to DISCUSS opinions in a GROWN UP way. To me it's a form of bullying and I get offended seeing this type of behaviour. Come on everybody ...there's too much hate and anger in this world and lots of deaths due to this horrendous virus. Can we just be nice to each other...PLEASE

I've noticed approx 6 new positions posted in last 8 hours today. My theory being .......as to rns yesterday .....they now need to fill positions to produce and deliver the new assays and fulfil the new DHSC and other contracts about to be published on their next rns. I am so excited about this share. Mms really trying to exploit the weak minded. Just stay in don't panic and we Will all be soon reaping the huge rewards. Fortune favours the brave xxxx

Yes Kitzie .don't want to sound like I am boasting as really not that type.. My whole year profit is 40k on paper but now showing 30K losses on purchased 6500 Nyct shares so still 10K up. My point was that, and I can imagine others had similar thoughts, If I had not the quality research provided from the posters on this board I can honestly admit I was considering selling 50% at a loss. I have had my fingers burnt in the past and have learned that patience and th knowledge that I am holding a top quality share (knowledge gained here) That I am very much looking forward to what is ahead for all of us invested here.I would never invest money I could not afford to lose.

Porky and others mentioned.I was down approx 30K when NYCT divebombed. If it hadn't been for your positive posts I dare say I would have Sold at least 50% of my shares at a substantial loss so.....a big Thank You for all. Your hard work/ research you provide to this board and I am sure other members will agree. Also Kaeren included in this.

2 more new vacancies posted in the last couple of hours. 1 vacancy is for a shipping transport manager. The key words are: "DUE TO BUSINESS GROWTH" and "TO SUPPORT THE SUCCESS of OUR MICROGEN and LAB 21 BRANDS".Advertised on Linkedin.

Just a thought but does anyone think Blackrock sold 3% on Friday hoping for a bigger drop as to rattle the nerves of PI's .Now seeing their actions have not worked and all the positive news over the weekend has caused them to panic and buy back in. If this is the case then a plus for all of us PI's

7 new positions in last 7 hours on linkedin. Plus 4 new positions I posted yesterday . 11 altogether!!! Something is definately brewing .A company doesn't keep advertising g well paid vacancies if they are not getting more busines!
