Well said Porky. What we are all forgetting is 2 years ago Covid was an unknown.GM already had aspirations to drive the company to a moral status. Covid came along like a tsunami and so the focus became PCR and lft tests along with all the other assays ncyt. I think GM did a brilliant move and took advantage of this market and to get the dhsc contract was a game changer for ncyt . GM s a good communicator as to getting business but not in other ways as we all know.GM knew it was time to hand the reins over to someone more able to deal with this totally unprecedented demand on a new product. It takes a bit person to come to a decision/admission such as this but I believe GM wasn't pushed but did it for the good of the future of the company.

But why Porky after all this time has someone plucked up the courage? And how did you guess I was a F and not an M.......very intuitive.Top Marks to you Porky!!!

OMG. I have been on this board a few months now. Almost 60 years old never typed in my first 50 years o r never used a computer and never did stocks and shares!! Self taught myself everthing. Why are people so polite? I couldn't work out some of the dogs on here so just ignored. KS what blue light is saying is you need to dyor. It's not all about contracts it's also about partnerships gained the new partners will be updating as to contracts awarded and not necessarily ncyt but ncyt will be the suppliers. Also the results stated as to the inclusion with PHE and NHS so we are working with them.

Also Porky,If revenue was £10million a month before the believed decline of testing then I believe now that revenue could still be £10 million a month at least with the upward swing in testing some May which could be turning over £120 million a year and not the forecasted £100 million a month and what happens then when the release of the lft antigen test second half of this year ......looking very positive!!

Reading through the outlook for 2021 again . NCYT stated they were expecting to launch the new lft antigen tests in the second half of 2021. Also stated they had dropped from £10 million to 7 Million a month due to the decline in testing. We all know what happened next........Testing has increased dramatically and I believe will go on rising !!!!!

How many people got all excited this morning for the long awaited rns they thought had arrived the clicked on the end and then had a surreal but positive moment? A bit like Christmas!!!

I believe GM has chosen to announce his retirement now after carefully choosing the best C.E.O for the job. This was not decided yesterday but may have been months in the planning and contractual negotiations discussed as to target bonuses etc. GM may have chosen to retire himself but was not happy to announce this until he managed to scoop the new CEO. This is how GM works and holds his cards close to his chest. Any thoughts?

Porky. I have written to Panorama,Ed milliband,Sun news and sky news as to this scandal. I am not the world's best at this and have trouble forwarding links etc and copying and pasting etc. We need people like yourself and many other posters here who are good at this type of action. Labour MPs News media etc all need to be bombarded with this latest story and the link sent to them as to the Latest LA news story. I will do my best and try to email anyone else I can think of but not good at forwarding the links . Going to find Kier Starmers email address now!
