Last week someone posted a link as to Westminster council putting out a tender for the supply of storage facilities for the expected over flow of corpses from mortuaries,hospitals and care homes. Soder. Have to disagree with you . If people start walking around freely after being in contact with someone positive and not testing themselves then just take a look at last year's figures as the delta variant is rampant and believed mutating. Especially for the clinically vunerable.

Please tell me if I heard wrong but Javid has just announced that the new rules from 16th August will mean if you get pinged then if double vaccinated you will not have to isolate or be obliged to take a test but a test will be recommended.If this is the case then a lot more deaths and cases Im afraid.

Yes a to e vaccine s .They were put together very quickly and due to the speediness as such an emergency to get the vaccines rolled out the proper channels of introducing a new vaccine had to have the red tape cut back a bit or we would have still been waiting. The vaccine were designed to work against the originality trains and no the mutated strains. I think laboratories will be working on a more suitable vaccine but only time will tell and then hope it's not before new mutations of the virus.

Porky ,I too am suspicious as to hospitalizations compared to test cases .Doesn't seem to add up. Let's see when the holidays are over and people turn the apps back on!

Harchris. Some people don't show symptons. And also the virus doesn't show up for approx 14 days this is why they are introducing daily tests for key workers so preventing them isolating. I've met people who said they were sure they'd had Covid as we're really poorly but just self recovered so food for thought.

A work colleague said to me the other day that she was turning her app off as she had a wedding to attend and was going on holiday next week. If this is the mindset of 10% of the population then I am afraid we will be in trouble especially if the delta variant mutates anymore.

Has anyone else noticed the last 3 days of the gov. Daily summary there has been technical difficulties with the death data. I would rather deaths were zero. Hospitalization seen to be going up and yesterday nearly 700000 pcr only tests carried out. No let up with testing!

Phew.! Tested negative but was sent a cheap Chinese test kit so fingers crossed!!

All well and good to say critical workers will not have to isolate and will be required to take daily tests but if the Gov are not spending money on quality lft tests then staff will spread the virus unknowingly and we will be in a worse situation than now. Would be great if ncyt get the saliva lft tests out their sooner rather than later!

Just got pinged by the bus all so have to isolate for 7 days which means someone I worked with on 21st has tested positive. Which means 4 days I may have been passing the virus on to my extremely clinically vunerable mum and my self also being clinically vunerable . I still where a mask at work but not many people have been wearing them the last year and was never enforced in an office where 100s work 24/7 in a sealed building and only the air con to rely on. So much for free Dumb day. Just ordered my test via post. Will take 2 days to arrive.

Not forgetting the shortage of tests earlier in the week and tests taking up to 5 days for results due to demand.This will be effecting the true figures which I believe will be a lot higher!

Jcb20. How many shares in issue for Chennai diagnostics? Received a $28.3 million order and shot up 273% and now have a market cap of 132.94 million.If I knew how many shares in issue would be able to compare against ncyt? Would be great if ncyt shot up like that for a $28million purchase order!!!
