Whatever the conspiracy theories by certain vegetables and armoured characters, the company did not launch the side track in the expectation of failure. It must have been a huge disappointment to them as it was to pi’s to learn of the poor results.

People don’t run public companies just to help out families and mates, despite what the knockers say. I would like to see the vegetables interred and jousters unmounted.

There is no point in more comments at the moment.

The BOD have made sensible provisions to keep the business alive, despite all the adverse comments here.

Firstly, clean up the well and determine at what level it can produce in the near term.

Evaluate other production and find the total near term income levels.

Reduce outgoings as heavily as possible to ensure those income levels allow for a surplus.

Work on agreement with creditors, the honourable thing to do, so that nobody looses too much over this poor drill result.

Then decide on how to move forward. The BOD have fought to keep this as a going concern and will obviously continue to do so. Once finances are clearer, they can return to the market, slimmer and trimmer, and move on from this temporary disappointment.

I know the share price will not come back to the levels that many bought at, but it will come back.

Then all genuine holders can decide what position to take.

I wish you were as conservative as this with your posts.

If you had posted at the same rate as me you would need 285 years to complete the number of posts that you have made.

I decided to start posting to ask questions and understand.

Unlike yourself, I freely confess that my investing knowledge is limited.

I did not join up to get into this sort of situation. I am not looking for arguments and would really rather avoid them, please.

I merely stated my understanding of the situation and my reasoning behind my decision to continue holding if and when GCAT re-lists.

Bebeto, I would be pleased to know what part of my post was not accurate.

I am aware that you are generally very negative about the Company and the BOD, but fail to understand the negativity toward posters trying to state an unbiased, neutral opinion.

So basically, what is being said and the current situation is the following, as I understand it.

The Company having secured finance, albeit qualified, now has a lifeline to continue operations.

This is mainly due to the unceasing efforts of the CEO while surrounded by serious doubters, myself one of them.

The appalling derogatory posts and posters have mainly switched their attention to other Companies.

It will be several months or more before this can be re-listed. Even after completion of audit and future prospectus there could be long delays before the LSE get round to reviewing the situation. But it will now be re-listed. Sigh.

Meanwhile, the price of gold will keep going from strength to strength. Recent analysts forecasts put the price of gold at well over $3,000 before the end of the decade, possibly much higher.

So the best thing to do now is wait and hold on in the medium term.

Thank you for your response. Fortunately I sold 50% of my holding just before trading ceased, so enjoyed large profit on a modest investment. However, I remain with a modest holding which I would like to see tidied up.

It seems that minor shareholders have no say in this. I think the asset s you refer to are probably not recoverable by us little guys. Hence my suggestion.

Also, hence my request for advice from more knowledgeable shareholders on how we can seek resolution. I was hoping that perhaps some kind of joint action, petition, whatever to LSE or the Courts could be formulated. I would be happy to subscribe to that.

It would seem that this has become a ‘shell’ company. The board of directors have made no business plan or proposals of how to move forward. I did not invest in a non trading, holding business. I believe that the assets should be sold and the proceeds distributed to shareholders.

At least that would end this sad s5ory.

Does anyone know just how long the company will be permitted to remain listed on AIM?

I presume some sort of financial statement is required as a minimum. There must be many frustrated shareholders who would like this answered and hopefully resolved.

Any corporate lawyers out there to offer an opinion?

The company clearly has some value if it is holding a stake in Sentience.

I would presume that this agreement would not have been signed without information regarding the audit and its expected completion date. Although not specifically mentioned in the RNS this will have to be completed prior to the deal being completed.

Just wanted to add my two pennyworth. A great relief to read the RNS. In the circumstances it is a very good deal, tidying up short term finance, adding experience to the board, and securing mining professionals to oversee the operations. I will not be selling on re-listing and will wait a while and watch how this pans’ out (forgive the pun).

I would like to state here my appreciation for all the positive comments made over the past months by JerseyCrew. Despite all the derogatory comments, at times verging on abusive, he has remained supportive of the company and of the CEO.

At times of despairing and switching off, his well balanced posts have been a source of encouragement for me.
