Hi Ian Don�t know him but know he posts rarely due to personal attacks by H77 etc in past due to � perceived negativity�. Personally like the bear as well,as bull case and good that despite a large difference of opinion on potential revenues etc he is still heavily invested and sees a great long term future here.

Morning Always found Laggan to be balanced and instructive but a few comments on yesterday�s post. 1.The Broker forecasts are reasonable in that they are consistent and although some may be used to ramp up prospects these have not changed and we�re used initially to establish the value of MTFB at various points including the June 2015 institutional raise �22m via SL/Invesco/Aviva at 50p so you will have experts like Dr Gary Waanders scanning these figures to make sure they are not pie in the sky Also these institutions do have a reputation to protect. Furthermore as an ex market researcher I would always collaborate these type of estimates by seeking views from other informed sources. These figures are very similar to the internal estimates of MTFB and yes they will be based on similar inputs but she;you are putting together 5 year plans etc to initiate a commercial strategy they will be based on best estimates rather than any guesses. The beauty here is that as the US commercialisation strategy becomes more visible then it will be much easier to verify what levels of business that MTFB anticipate. So whilst I accept it will take a few years to reach peak sales and will need HABP to get close to a blockbuster level I know the BOD are targeting these type of levels. 2.Pharma may not be interested in this space well yes that is one of reasons why we have such a crisis in AMR. They are not interested in this space primarily due to patent cliff and cheap generics. MTFB have QIDP status which is huge attraction of big pharma and also are deliberately modelling Iclaprim target market at a patient treatment cost of $3000 and away from the generic costs. It is the success of the MTFB commercial team promoting their economic model which will decide on the future level of success in Iclaprim. Pharma are interested in this space if it gives them a good return and access to a host of important medical professionals.They need to fill their pipeline and have the structure to maximise sales so there will be considerable interest but will not likely materialise until nea4 Approval stage. 3.Would not dispute market reaction to NDA submission as per Laggan comments but disagree on the current starting point. The present SP has definitely been walked down and think that us plain to see so imo we need to be in 40-50p range just for starters to reflect current status. In summary it is great to have likes of Laggan view as he is usually fair and informed and always need bear and bull case. Yes we have points of disagreement which I have highlighted but we both share much common ground. MTFB have a good proposition and then Management team have done extremely well save for the US IPO. The risk/reward here remains extremely high and there will be more clues as to who is most accurate in their predictions in the coming month soon ahead

Jim I/Leas/Larus I don�t know the reason why he has decided to move on but am very comfortable that he was not a key influence on the future if MTFB despite his position.I am also aware that there were a few comments expressed on Stocktwits eminently raised by Neuro that had concerns over him and are pleased that he has gone. As you can never be fully aware of folks agenda then I am very non judgemental on comments raised for eg on a US site so was not worried about taking him on as he is not that influential in the grand scheme of things. He had good experience and after the US IPO there was criticism of the previous incumbent so hence he moved on as well. All I am concerned about here is what I understand ie the science/ the market and the fact that apart from the US IPO everything has been delivered here and yes the SP does not reflect this progress but no one has given me any facts as to why this is the case. I am fortunate in that my losses here today are made up for by gains elsewhere like N4P but this is the sgarecI am most knowledgable about and most confident in. Until the promises made by the BOD are not delivered is the tine I will re consider my position here but until that time I remain convinced that this will come good. ATB

My understanding is that there are no concerns and it is all covered in the RNS.Everything is on track and yes Leas Know Dickey was a permanent position and yes people leave their jobs.Could be personal reasons which for reasons of privacy may not be revealed just why do people always assume the worst. If DH or GL left then I would worry but certainly not a CFO in a Company like MTFB

What speculation?. This is not a revenue producing Company so can�t be about poor trading and they don�t need to raise money in the near future so no need to have a CFO for quite a while. He is helping out in interim and they have an able acting CFO so really don�t know what the issues are.The NDA submission is the priority ATM and that is still fully on track. Robert Dickey�s last 5 jobs have all lasted on average about 18 months so no big surprise to me. No need imo to know any more as there will be reasons for his departure but convinced it is not related to anything u toward MTFB

Hi Shellie, You could be right about the catalyst for SP rise but as this has been held in a trading range for ages think it is more about bears vs bulls OR you suggest news that will break out. As you say NDA submission is already e pecten but good to see Zacks restate timeline now we are in Q1/2018. There is nothing new in Zacks note but the strategy for positioning Iclaprim is very specific and targeted

Rebarm Hope you are well Met up with GL at a jefferies Conference in November and all on track and focused on raising g profile in US and submission of NDA. No timelines have changed in either JanuRy corporate presentation and Zacks note so confident it I should going as planned

Yes Zacks will be in close contact with MTFB therefore restatement of timeline for submission of NDA as Q1/2018 is very positive imo. As the CMC is part of the submission then MTFB must be confident everything is on track for the next 2 months

Kelsbells -yes that is the kind of margin I am talking about and would even say that 5% would represent the absolute figure of getting Approved with a black box warning such as with Delafloxacin and think the risk of not getting Approved is in order of 2-3%. The next hurdle is to ensure The CMC compliance which will form part of NDA submission.My understanding is this is on track as no changes to the timeline were Revisedin the latest CorporTe presentation on 8th January and they would be pretty much way down this road by now. The decision to confirm HABP in 1H 2018;at the December BOD meeting is a big vote of confidence as you would not confirm this if you were at all worried about the NDA dubmission

Well I would be more than happy if someone can point out what the certain problem is as the BOD certainly do not see one. As for a risky bet well of course there is risk but extremely small imo and certainly less than virtually any other biotech/pharma on AIM.Happy fir anyone to suggest otherwise. To highlight a Iclaprim failed phase 3 last time is irrelevant imo as the. Ha he�s were made and it has positive results in 2 p3 trials.. There is a clear strategy to market but includes options.Woukd anyone prefer a clear strategy to say sell to big pharma but no back up plan. Speculation of future dilution is purely that.Yes they will require mor money to complete HABP and to potentially set up a US Commecial operation but they decided to progress HABP when they could easily have left it on the back burner so that to me is a sign if confidence not necessity.
