Think the website is correct as it lists Mr Waddle as being under notifiable which I am pretty certain is the case.
Know that TB was keen to stay under 30% as he would have to takeover the lot but also know in one of last placings he put money in form of a convertible loan so he may have even more leverage.
But important thing as we all say he is totally aligned with us as is David Smith who has a decent holding

Crumbs SCLP has followed a traditional small AUM bio pathway.When there are few shares in issue the SP is normally much higher and as the shares are relatively illiquid then any good news or bad news is heavily traded hence a lot of volatility.
The flow of news is usually positive even if infrequent due to it being genuine or in some cases( not here) due to the need to sugar coat the offering as they need to continually raise money hence more dilution and if it stays at same market CSO then the SP will have fallen.
SCLP has moved past all those early stages and no one is doubting the potential of the many platforms here.
However the BOD for whatever reason has constantly failed to meet its timelines in generating the trial data which SCLP itself has said is the critical validation needed to generate true value.
It is good to see that some of the wilder future valuations have been recognised as being pie in the sky until this data verify the true potential here.
Again good to see some realistic debate occurring and it is not about who is right and who is wrong as none of us can prove it one way or the other,it is imo about putting forward views in a balanced way and then we can all make our individual decisions based on our own understanding and interpretation of the posted facts and opinions of all.

Morning one point to bear in mind when considering whether 5p or 50p offers a picture of future prospects.
Of course investors will focus on SP but don’t forget to consider number of shares in issue as it is market cap which imo is a better indicator of future prospects.
However that has fallen in recent times and is one of reasons why I do think SP is important as that is fixes the valuation for capital raises which is usual for aa non revenue oriducingvCompsny

These guys are full time investors and make a nice living from it and Myles for instance is an ex Allenby analyst and only 32 so must be doing something right.They are professional investors and use a lot of TA as well but they largely stay under the radar.
Michael from Shifting Shares is another one with a big following.
Don’t know if anyone who predicted the City Financial but these guys would pick up the signs and of course the rumours much earlier than most.

Yes Ray he has record of never having lost his first game and as long as he has learned his lessons he should do well at Spurs.
Again totally agree that the SP will ultimately be determined by the deal/ scientific data.However I do consider the SP to be important for a whole host of reasons such as sentiment and of course the ability to raise at acceptable levels.
Of course if you have a decent financial position,can afford to wait and want to add to your shares the SP may not be of the utmost importance but there are many LTH who may not post on here who have endured financial hardship and have suffered as a result of being heavily underwater here and may not have the time to recover this.
I am aware of several who have endured poor health and largeky invested here on past BOD promises and have suffered a lot.
Anyway we all have different perspectives and good that we can discuss these things without rNcour.

Bermuda yes institutional investors are needed to fund SCLP moving forward but do not underestimate the importance of some of these people.
Myles for instance will invest 100s of thousands in individual AIM Company’s ( at one time had £1m in N4P - yes after a big rise) and they have huge influence with other investors.
They won’t provide the money for SCLP but can have a big effect at supporting the SP but they usually have a specific MO and the BOD would have to engage more with retail investors which they have so far shown no interest in doing so.

Should rephrase LTH as happy to hold as yes they have been very patient but I mean they largely understand the potential here but yes get frustrated but I just don’t see them selling en masse but there will be limits to their patience.
What I mean by Heavy hitters are nit the P and D crowd but folk like Myles McNulty and Smudge Dan who I know has researched here) and there are many others who follow them.

Ruck totally agree about the need to attract new investors if we are to get what we all want and that is an SP at much higher levels.
The fact that sentiment is poor ATM is not an issue for many LTH as they are happy to hold but we do need news of progress and the BOD has not been delivering this news on the required timelines.
In order to attract new investors especially on AIM and really build up ahead of steam you need to either deliver fantastic news ie a commercial deal/ outstanding clinical results or engage with some of the heavy hitters and that is down mainly via personal contact and private twitter groups.
They mainly avoid the BBs so having an divisive board although nit helpful is no major hurdle but what they do like to see is alignment with SH like skin in the game/ regular communication and of course a compelling story.
Most of us believe the story here re potential but the other areas need addressing.
That is what will bring about a huge rerate here imo although of course external validation such as a deal or great clinical data will achieve the same result.

TB is also heavily in a few other shares so has a lot if exposure and must have an exit strategy planned at some stage.
However he has continued to invest more money during the last 12 months so presently shows no signs of wanting to exit in the foreseeable future.

Blueberg when you say baffle you do you mean the PIs that maybe do not realise that one individual does not own 60% or the folk like TB/DS etc who do own 60%.
No matter to me the important bit is they are aligned with SH and as geeforce says this moves very quickly.
Don’t expect it to rise anywhere near previous highs in coming months as the anticipation of FDA Approval attracted a lot if interest.
However news can change that position overnight and still confident as a longer hold this will reward SH well

Appreciate you are trying to “ understand both sides” and using a nuanced argument which is fine.
However when one poster states something without equivocation as a given and argues the case I do feel inclined to support the individual that is imo correct.
Simply see it as a kind of Factchecker in the same way many others feel the need to intervene when someone is making spurious claims for whatever reason.

We understand why he has made the mistake thinking as Royalties don’t have any direct cost of sales save for a bit of admin etc but he totally fails to take into account ongoing variable and fixed costs like salaries and other stuff.
Whether you have 100k of royalties or are making 20% on 500k of revenue it is the same effect in that it all goes into the one bucket to cover all other costs to produce a profit.

Also TB has a load of skin in the game unlike the other one.
Have been in here about 4 years and like many sold much on FFA Apprival but always kept a bit in and great to to see SP respond back up.

What an absolute nonsense that Royalties go straight to the bottom line.
It is like any income from which you must deduct costs sunk or otherwise.Yes there is no direct cost of sales attached like revenue but that is why Royalties are at a much lower rate than normal sales generated revenue which have cost if sales to take into account.

OK SP and I really do not know why Peel Hunt have suddenly acquired 18% of MTFB .
Is it in lieu of previous fees as they did not handle last raise that was SP Angel or do they see value here .
