Completely unprofessional That said, all he said was that they won't be raising money via a placement - he said that 'if funds are required, then they had options to raise them on more favourable terms' so not too specific - and clearly would be odd to RNS that they won't be do a placement (hence we've not had one). Once they have signed a deal fund the new orders, then we'll hear about it. I'm in no rush and I actually expect a new deal/partnership to be signed & RNSd before we hear about this finance deal.

The directors hold over 20%. I am aware of a number of pis who hold over 1% each. The majority of the shares in STAR are held in sticky hands looking for multibags. This means a tiny free float - so the next news will cause a significant shift in the sp. The favourable funding (disclosed to several pi by the CFO ) to finance new growing orders, when announced, will see a giant gap up. Hence I'm holding a lot of shares now, rather than waiting for this news to be announced in RNS.

So you bought in based on facts about the company. Then you quickly sold, at a loss, based on nerves created by an artificial drop in the sp. There were zero new facts. That, my friend, is poor investing. Do your research and stick by your decision until new facts arrive.

Very very unlikely it will drop again. They used a backdrop of the worst market day in many years to artificially create that drop.

They shook all the weak holders (yourself included) yesterday. I bought more. (now over 1% of the company.) Best of luck to you (and please don't waste your time repetitevly posting negatively all day, in you usual panic way, when things start to move against you!)

Looks solid for a bounce today.
MMs have no shares - hence the limit to buy is currently 75k shares.
Dougal, if you sold out on this artificial drop then you are as simple as your posts suggest.

When there's blood on the street and all that. MMs dropped this on almost no volume, using the sentiment of the broader market to trigger this drop. I'm sure a few will be taking the opportunity to load up.
These are the occasions when the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Sad to see people panic sell when the company is looking so good. Sentiment will inevitably switch back just as quickly. Best of luck all.

I noticed yesterday someone took £20k worth in four even £5k lumps around 4pm yesterday (not all showing on here). And we're up again this morning already. Feeling positive. The mms used the general market nerves yesterday to shake a few and to trigger some stops. Suspect we'll be able to rise more naturally now the MMs have swept up some easy cheap shares.

I suspect that was someone caught out on a stop or a leveraged trade limit, thanks to the artificial drop first thing. MMs know how to make money.

The range of products and high profile partners are also rare for aim.
The iot space is super hot just now. Can see interest building very quickly here. Let's get 2p out the way and then we can start to get excited.

Ps. The reason for such large movement on low volume is because most pi have waited a long while, believe in the bod & products and are not going to consider selling until well north of 2p. At £5m there's not a lots of shares around (I have nearly 1% alone!). Hence the mms need to lift the sp to find sellers. Also, as I mentioned before, I believe a few shorted in anticipation of a placement. News that this isn't happening is causing a short squeeze. Which is great news for everyone else :-)

I started putting in dummy buys for a few £k. Gradually reduced and literally can't even get a price to buy £20. Crazy.
I can however sell a bucket load at above bid.

Basically no downside now. And a huge upside in a very hot tech. Expect 2p in short order and then interest will really begin to build. A few days of decent rises is what it takes for the herd to start researching a minow like this. Time to load up, while we're still off the radar. GLA

There's no liquidity at this level as there's very few sellers. And I believe a few shorted this and will quickly get caught short and squeezed out. Momentum could build very quickly. So often I've seen fantastic news take a day or two to impact sp.
And with the CFO in town arranging very favourable funding. Exciting times.
