Because I am aware of a few pi who have taken short positions in anticipation of a theoretical discounted placing.
And I'm also aware of very interesting conversations about very positive alternative funding. Unsurprising imo given the latest few bits of news.

You are right, I am here because I believe the products and bod will increase the value of my holding. (Considerably more than 15%)
I'm very happy to discuss pros and cons but it's irritating and facile when a short term troll like dougal comes on and bombards the board with the same point over and over.
I appreciate that you and he want the sp down as much as holders want it up but, as you rightly said, BALANCED discussion is key.

Just remember - hunky and dougal have one goal here. A lower sp. They will keep on and on, repeating themselves, trying to sow doubt, because they want the sp down.
Personally I've done my research and am very comfortable with my investment. And I'm now even more comfortable thanks to the appearance (on this tiny microcap) of these trolls. There must be a big prize around the corner, to warrant so much of their time here.

We all know the adage. The market will respond about 2 minutes after the average pi runs out of patience and throws in the towel.
Re-rate will come. The fundementals are solid so I'm very relaxed.

Is 10p (50mil mcap) viable for a well managed profitable company in the hot IOT category?
Surely anyone selling for under 2p would be mad not we've reached this point - exciting business with practically no risk and huge potential

The sp is stupidly low because a fund raise is priced in. Hence you get the likes of win4call making his first ever post on Star so promptly - ie: there are many pi waiting to pick up shares on any slight drop following possible placement.
There's no way I'd be selling at these levels. If a placement doesn't happen, or is smaller than expected, or is accompanied by solid progress and positive EBIDTA - then I anticipate the market will get caught short and we'll see a solid run. Everyone knows the sp is stupidly low, we just need the update on finances and progess. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they place at a premium following a positive trading update.

Steve - EBITDA did not reach profit 2 years ago, it will this year. We are now well placed to see a significant rerate IMO.
PS: just had a read back of your STAR posts...
a) Looks like you sold out in mid/late July, as you made a u-turn from empty ramps to empty knocking of the stock, company & bod.
b) Your spelling is atrocious.

Don't miss what, for me, is one of the most compelling aspects of this little firm. Positive EBITDA!! You very very seldom see that on an AIM minow and it's the sort of thing that investment funds pay very close attention to.
Genuinely be surprised if we're not $50mill mcap within 12 months (or bought out for a 10 bagger)

Have seen quite a few mid sized paired trades where people are moving shares into pension or isa recently... gearing up to avoid CGT after news & a big rise maybe ;-)
