...no news yet, but, by my reckoning I have until the end of tomorrow ("Thursday latest"). And I'm still supremely confident of an rns. The wide spread and lack of ATs screams out that they are also aware something is in the pipeline and are waiting to see what. Can almost taste that pint. IG

L2 is not giving much away. Both sides sitting away from the market. BID is mostly dma (our institutional accumulator) and WINS. ASK has 1 DMA left with small volume showing and then all the other MMs. My interpretation is that he supressor is all but done - last bits left but nothing of consequence - and now they know there is an active buyer with a bigger appetite than they have ammunition left. Meaning that the buyer is holding back.... Reason: if they started buying via the usual ATs then they would push the sp up very quickly as there is no longer a ready supply of shares (just MMs). And a higher sp is no use to an accumulator! So the buyer has set their DMA low to try and shake a few cheeky shares from weak / impatient holders. (as always, the patient winning over the impatient). Still expecting news before end tomorrow and then fireworks. IG

no dma on the ask - just the MMs. MMs have a very very limited supply of shares. They will sell you a few and then shift this up fast, until they find enough sellers to crerate an even market. Well over 50p IMO! Whoop whoop IG

Just looking at the reporting time line for tr01. Last time BOA reported an increase it occurred Wednesday but they didnt tell Motif till Friday and the rns was Monday lunchtime. Makes sense that if you're trying to buy, you'd drag your feet with the reporting to allow as much buying as possible before the potential uplift cause by a BOA buying tr01. Assuming it's them accumulating. .. they needed 2.5m to hit the 7% reporting threshold. Wouldn't be surprised if they manage to cross 7 and 8 % in one slightly delayed rns. Exciting times. IG

The background accumulator must have picked up a lot by now. All those AT buys every day must total several milion shares over the last 4/5 trading days alone. The next tr01 will be very interesting, esp if it's a new US fund. Gla IG

Very little left on he ASK, the seller keeps trying to fool the algos by dropping the offer to 35.75 (after lots of buys & no sells) but it's not working and the buyer is filling his boots. 14k shares left (showing) on the ASK below 36.5. They probably know that one more blue day, plus 36 broken, will be enough to set the momentum & tech traders & algos buying ie: we'll see that run to 55. GLA IG

Bid is slowly getting loaded. Stronger every 5-10 mins. Am expecting a run of AT buys soon and the offer to give way. 36 is getting boring, bring on 40. IG

Trouble is, I agree. I also think we're going to see another raft of big buys. So if I take the bet them I'm looking a losing another pint. That over �10 in this crazy world! :-) The buyer is sensibly patient, they are slowly accumulating and quite happy to do it at the pace the supressor wants, so as not to pay more then they have to. If you watch, they are gradually buying off the ask, but prefer when the supressor sells to them via DMA. 35.5 is cheaper than 36 :-). But on close I agree they will sweep up everything the seller is prepared to give them at the ASK, IMO. Some pi buys but nearly nobody is going to sell at this kind of level - the orchastrated drop may have shaken a few but most LTH who didn't sell at 50, or 40 or 30 are looking for �1 or more so this will play out via the autos and we will sit on the sidelines until a sensible level is reached (or the reason for the forced drop is revealed - related to a bid for the AMP shares or for the whole company IMO). we're just spectators here. DMAs & ATs driving this. As you suggest there is the usual raft of them on the offer soaking up the buying. But the more aggresive by far are those on the bid. L2 looks even but those of the ask will only have a finite source of ammo and when it's gone this will fly. I'm of the opinion that Sand Grove are behind the AT buying and that we'll see a holding update later this week. IG

Autos working for us now. Amazing the seller has held out this long. They must be running very low now. There are literally zero 'normal' sellers. IMO we will hit a point soon when the seller/supressor runs dry and this will fly - could easily do 30-40% in a day. Who'd sell for below 70p given the science and funding? Madness. Inevitably some more iis will want in soon too. And we could easily see news of a regional licencing deal. Going to be a very positive xmas. Can't wait. IG
