Sounding off, I fear you have actually convinced yourself that rig confirmation & 20p share price is 100% guaranteed in the next couple of months!! The reality is... that is a slim chance. 1 in 5 at best. It is far more likely that we will see further delays and placement. And sub 7p. Hence the big boys jumped ship on the first delay rns months ago. Best of luck IG

Does anyone have experience of this in other shares? Roughly what might this cost? I believe the original 2 yr licence cost around $5m? So will a 5yr extension cost millions? IG

Maestro. You better brace yourself for another goal post move. They have teed one up by saying that they will start looking for another rig! That and the license extension will be the good news that 'excuses' a placement in Jan IMO IG

Me waffling on! .. tee hee. It's just potential, until they do something. Anything! Market does not put much value on potential. You just have to look across aim to see that. And the potential is much less interesting than at the ipo (when they had an map on £10m) - given that the workover failed and the bod have created distrust. And, of course, they have burned a huge wad of cash achieving f all. Anyway, best of luck. IG

Maestro. There are potential investors reading this forum. You follow delays & bad news rns with this "At least the volume has been low, hopefully next few weeks it shall recover" It's not creating an great image. 'Hoping' as an investment strategy is unique. Most people will wait and buy in cheaper / when there is a positive narative. IG

Jim. It is typical bury head in sand reaction on a falling sp. I've done it myself. Sometimes it's better to take a loss than to keep holding and hoping -when the writing is on the wall in huge letters. IG

I doubt it will be delayed that far. My bet is for Q2 spud. Once the finances and licence are sorted. The more pressing issue is the price the placement is made at. Given the previous mates rates of 5p I wonder if that will be used again. Sadly it makes a lot of sense, like the earlier poster mentioned, for investors to sell and buy back cheaper. Utterly appaling management. They have near enough guaranteed that there will be no positive news for a while. IG

Thanks to the bod yesterday making it pretty clear that no good news is imminent, you can expect the shorting gang to attack this share. Which in turn will make the dilutative effect of the placement even worse. Ugly mess due to poor leadership and outrageously misleading comms. IG

maestro. I didn't say that 3p was on the cards, just that it was statistically more likely that 30p over the next few months. Which is true. Funny, maybe, but I'm not sure that even you would argue that my older 10p target is now anything other than nailed on? Let's see if I get my current 7.25p buy price. IG
