we had a trading update on Friday 9th April 2021, is it reasonable to expect one on Friday 8th?

yesterday's RNS said we will have a Wressle update in April, hopefully the CPR will be part of that...tick tock, not long until our next $1m

wiltshire, the fact that " few punters seem to understand the complexities of oil exploration and production" tells me that UJO should take more care managing shareholders expectations, for example, 6 months ago when UJO announced the commission of a new CPR, they could have said "an updated CPR typically takes 3 to 4 months, however it will take longer if the scope changes, we will keep you informed accordingly". Instead they left us hanging for months.

GP, I believe the £1m is due from EDR in May (11%pa). overall ujo finances are in great shape, Calmar paid, $4m net from Wressle and another $1m in about 1 month, Royalty probably doing very well, ujo's EDR shares have more than doubled in value, plus 20 bpd from other assets. Next month's Wressle update could propel the sp way above its current level

It's obvious from my posts I am nothing to do with justbe, he/she simply used copy&paste for some reason. wrt the CPR, you may be right, it may be that they have a huge amount of data to consider, whilst I am no expert 6 months seems like more than enough time

David, it's over 6 months since you announced that UJO had commissioned an updated Competent Persons Report, why is it taking so long? thx.

GDR is an interesting company, might be a good fit for novacyt although it seems a little over-valued after today's rise

I agree that $3m is a safe assumption as UJO is on the cusp of announcing their $4m milestone, perhaps eog's cashburn is not something they want to expose currently? We are almost into Q2, were we not promised updates in Q1 by edg & ujo so next week could be a big news week

yet again no statement re EOG's cash position, I find that strange considering how well Wressle is doing

mwp, like you I have concerns about WN, it's been marketed as the mother of all onshore finds but as at 31.12.20 ujo has spent £3.755m, I estimate that could be nudging £5m as at 31.12.21, if correct that means the JV has spent circa £30m so far and not produced any oil or gas. Whilst the market and shareholders are delighted that pp was granted, my fear is WN will become a financial millstone for ujo. As the chuckle brothers are so convinced by WN, let's offer to sell our 1/6 to them for... £10m? £20m? and walk away.
