my best guess is 1p to 1.5p which would cost £1.2m to £1.7m plus of course DB is planning a buyback of up to 10% of the shares over 12 months or so. 1.5p is about 2 months net revenue from Wressle + Fisk etc, so not a major drain on cash but it would send a strong signal to the market "nous sommes arrives!"
Resolution 7 - Authority to repurchase shares17 May 2022 17:54
This resolution authorises the board to make market purchases of up to 11,271,589 ordinary shares (representing approximately 10% of the Company's issued ordinary shares as at the date of this AGM notice). Shares so purchased may be cancelled or held as treasury shares. The authority will expire at the end of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company or 15 months from the passing of the resolution, whichever is the earlier.
as at 31.12.21 UJO has invested £5.185m in WN of which about £300k appears to be the cost of the pedl, so about £4.8m x 6 = £28.8m spent on development....to produce....barrel loads of unicorns & rainbows.
4 addition wells...at what cost??? another £3m-£5m for UJO?
I'm no fan of heid but I don't believe she's a paid ramper, I see her as an over enthusiastic investor-blogger who loves the sound of her own voice and is desperate to appear relevant. imo there is a much more obvious UJO representative on this bb, his posts are sensible and well informed although he has recently started to engage in petty squabbles, mainly with royoboy
Micky I remember when the mcap peaked at £47m in our diddly squat days, people got excited and were saying II's would pile in at £50m mcap, at that time WN was supposed to be the dogs bollux yet so far it's just a money pit. thank God for Wressle!
UJO will probably publish their 2021 Finals on Monday or Tuesday so we should have a better idea of what's happening (or not happening) with our JVs. Also, the expectation is UJO will announce the $6m Wressle milestone within 2 weeks which means $4.5m to EOG to date.
just a week away from the Finals and possibly only 2 weeks until the $6m milestone. Brent holding above $100 and Sterling under 1.24, even if poo drops to $70 next year and Sterling goes back above 1.35, the increase in oil production and the sale of gas should easily offset these changes, Wressle looking very rosy!
Finals came out on Monday 17th last year so probably next Monday with buyback &/or divi guidance which will hopefully put a rocket under the sp. If that doesn't do it, $1m milestones month after month will cause a breakout later this summer imo
I agree with everything you say except wrt NK. An appeal MAY be successful but I wouldnt put the chances anywhere near "almost certainly". I feel EDR has really screwed the pooch on NK, 7 years with no action on the ground. if they had built an access road and prepared the site with plenty of sympathetic planting around the perimeter fence with several years of growth, locals would have had time to get used to the site and they would have seen that it has a low visual impact which in my opinion would have soften opposition
RE: Grief do odx directors have no professional pride ?5 May 2022 10:39
you're absolutely right re financials, I was referring to communication which appears to be an issue for many AIM companies, always over promising and under delivering or just being economic with the truth, all part of the game I guess
