Hi manwithplan, thanks for your thoughts, this is a forum for discussing ideas and opinions yet some want to monopolise it with nonsense (heid) or shout down anything negative about the company (tac). As a shareholder for 4 years I express opinions, I criticise management at times and question decisions, all shareholders have the right to do this, ESPECIALLY as the sp is performing so badly.

if RBD, Rathlin and EDR are incapable of communicating realistic timeframes (which we have all seen repeatedly), why shouldn't DB say to UJO shareholders "that's best case scenario, imo xyz is more realistic"

calm down dear! yes, I am ABSOLUTELY suggesting DB offers investors more realistic time frames, he likes to tell us he has 40 years experience in the oil industry, fine, use that experience and BE HONEST with investors, tell them that EDR's timeframes are best case scenarios and unlikely to be met (when are they ever met!). DB has a responsibility to UJO shareholders, not to EDR

croc, WN is an extreme case of style over substance, the chuckle brothers talk the talk but have so far failed to deliver anything meaningful, just more promises of unicorns & rainbows. meanwhile, DB just parrots the data & unrealistic timeframes given by RBD & Rathlin, ditto the unrealistic timeframes given by EDR for several JVs . Yes, Wressle is a great success but even with Wressle we are either told things will happen but dont or we are given totally unrealistic timeframes by EDR which are simply repeated by DB. When will these guys learn to manage investors expectations instead of constantly over promising and under delivering?

thanks for the replies, it's odd that we have to ask these questions on a bb, if I were the CEO I would clearly define the logical steps for shareholders to eliminate any speculation, keeping shareholders reasonably well informed is not rocket science

yes, tomorrow we will know if shareholders approve the Resolutions, what we dont know is whether or not UJO has presented its case to the High Court, hopefully DB will surprise us by confirming that he has and that the HC has approved it. Does anyone know if a profitable H1 means that HC permission is no longer required? Does UJO have to show a full year profit or will 6 months do? btw the I have searched the HC case list and can find no representations by UJO.

Micky I cant say what the outgoings are, the recent RNSs only give cash & receivables and revenue. my simple maths suggests that the twitter analysis is wrong although the £8.4m includes current receivables which are likely to include the Royalty and monies due from oil sales, I suspect the cash burn is currently about £100k pm as it appears nothing is happening at WN and EDR is silent wrt our JVs

£6.164m cash as at 21.02
$4m wressle revenue (about £3.2m)
$240k other revenue (about £192k)
£1m loan repaid
£2.08m paid to Calmar

total £8.476m so imo cash burn has been very, very small the last 4 months
