I agree that a special divi seems very likely, perhaps with a commitment to pay a % of annual profits as a divi each year from May 2023, 25%-50% would be nice

rnst, I mentioned the options issue last week, ie how a b/b in theory increases the sp so bringing the options closer to profit, versus a divi which moves the sp further away. however it occurred to me that a buyback and cancellation may alter the vesting(?) price in the same way that the consolidation did, what do you think?

as you say, usually cancelled but I believe shares can be "held in treasury" although I'm not sure under what circumstances. wrt to the Finals, I expect further guidance re b/b or divi, although I think you are right re an AGM

hi herbert, sometimes companies buyback because they have surplus cash, sometimes because they haven't got any better ideas! In ujo's case I believe DB wants to reward long suffering shareholders and show AIM that ujo is on a serious growth trajectory (imo)

I have been following jdw since early last summer when I had my first F&C lunch there, followed by numerous other visits as it's such good value for money and standards in my experience are consistently high. £7 to £7.50 is a great 2 to 3 year investment opportunity imo, I can see 100% upside in the next 3 years, time for a pint, sorry I meant time for a punt :)

£215k for a CEO that's runs a company currently making $1m per month, plus of course UJO doesnt have a pension fund for the directors. This seems like VERY good value for money compared to the £300k pa salaries the chuckle bros get over at RBD, a company that isnt making any money!

Hi ivans, I have a different pov, I dont think it is bad news, I think it's actually good news. Let me explain. EDR have kicked this can down the road for 7 years, this was the 3rd planning extension request (for 1 year). They have not even built an entrance road in this time, presumably due to lack of money or having considered it a low priority compared to other PEDLs. Now that money is pouring in from Wressle, EDR should be in a position this year to make significant progress on 2 or 3 other sites. To have been granted a 1 year extension would be a distraction from these site as well as as drain on their cash. They can now take their time preparing an appeal and perhaps be granted an extension in Q4 or Q1 2023 when they have a much better idea of their cash situation. I honestly dont think they could/would have done anything with this site during a 1 year extension. My guess is they will simply leave it be for the moment.

Mickey that was the initial decision, this is the confirmation of that decision (normal practice as I understand it)
