I have posted before about some of the wild claims or £500m business and expanding in to US and Asia. The whole thing is hype and as for Piers as a cloud pioneer that is an absolute joke. Piers is a master of his own publicity and that has got him far. Before this he failed in almost everything he tried but struck lucky here and made a few quid off the back of the purchase and sale of genesis and the float. How the hell he made it on to Dragons Den I will never know as he has no real net worth or any business success to speak of. I just hope the poor people he mentors off the back of the show has more success than this company. For creating the hype and lining his own pockets you have to give him credit but for business acumen and cloud pioneer I am sorry but the man is a modern day snake oil salesman...

I am sure if there was any real growth they would release a Q1 trading update to try and firm the share price up a bit. they are starting final month of the first half so a trading update would be good or a view of where the figures are likely to be with regard to budget.

As pointed out already cash isn't their only problem right now.

Here comes the beauty parade for the next round of funding. They didn't need to do this for the last placing as existing investors were more than willing. Looks like some of the belief from them is fading seeing as they need to cast their net wider in the market.

A Q1 trading update would be useful now, Only 6 weeks to the end of H1 and looking forward to seeing the progress...

Hi Kaching, As mentioned before what about the rise platform? There would have been a fair chunk of MRR that came when the took over this and without that they would have had a significant miss. Also why no mention of this in any of their updates or even a release?

I have made similar posts about some of the press around OUT. What about the money they raised pre float that was going to help them with the Pearsons contract. Giving them the ability to expand in to USA and ASIA and the build sales teams in those geographies? As for the "Dragons Den" thing. I cant find a single business that Piers Linney has ever made a success of. If anyone know otherwise I will gladly be corrected. When the DD thing was announced he came in for some flack around companies he was involved in that wound up with losses. What really annoys me being in the IT industry is the phrase they keep using to describe him as "Cloud Pioneer" he doesn't come from a technology background, Doesn't really understand technology and has never been involved in or run a successfully technology company. Burning a load of other peoples money setting up a cloud business does not make you a pioneer......

I reckon we are going to see sub 50 on this by the end of the week. I would love to be a fly on the wall internally. Cash reserves must be starting to get low and at these rates a placing is almost out of the question. Time for the directors to show a vote of confidence and put some of their own cash in.

That is an interesting theory but can they keep reiterating a buy statement while selling off their shareholding?

Thanks for the reply. I suppose my concern here is that the outages have spooked some investors and the lack of large contract wins isn't providing confidence. I looked through the official results and still maintain that they are going to need to raise more funds before the year is out. As mentioned in another post they raised funds prior to float to open up in the US and Asia and that didn't happen so where did that money go? I still haven't invested but will continue to watch however I think this has a lot further to fall yet. It would give everyone some confidence if the directors acquired some shares at this value to show confidence in the company.

Would genuinely be interested to hear your views now on this one.

Worth taking a look at the twitter account @OutsourceryHelp they had plenty of outages during April across all platforms. This doesn't look like a well built stable platform.

I see Investec have come out and reiterated their buy statement but this time with no target price. Based on previous recommendations this share is now a bargain price. Shouldn't we see the Directors putting some of their own cash in to buy up shares at a bargain price?

This is what I referred to in my last post. The deal was pearsons and here is a couple of quotes from the release in 2012 when they just raised £6.4m pre float. The firm is aiming to grow revenues from £4m to £10m this year and to reach £100m by 2015. A stock market flotation is on the cards within three years. Outsourcery said it the money would provide additional working capital as it looks to establish operations abroad, with Asia-Pacific, Australasia and the United States under consideration. It will look to build its own IT infrastructure, sales teams and partnerships in overseas markets. Didn't get those numbers and no operations anywhere other than UK. Do some research on Google and follow the history. There is a lot of hype behind this one and they are never going to be able to live up to it.

The latest news release is a classic. Share Proce drops over 25% and they do a press release announcing a customer win. Vodafone and Virgin Media were signed up ages ago. If one customer win warrants a release, where are the flood of releases of all the large wins with these 2 companies? Voda and Virgin have massive customer bases. Even if the last 6 months were a pilot, if the products were that hot pilot would have seen the orders flooding in. A pilot may have only been run in a small area with a selection of customers but you would expect more than one news worthy win by now. What happened about the 50,000 (can't remember the number) user global deal they signed? That would see them open up in Asia... I have followed this company from inception and admire their ability to market and create hype but to date I see no real evidence of tangible delivery.

With the share price dropping every day I am surprised there isn't an announcement or some news to explain this. My assumption ins they are making noise in the market to raise more cash and this is spooking investors. Could be completely wrong but cant understand the large drop.

I am not talking about terminology I am pointing out they are by no means first and not even in the top 10 of cloud providers poised to make the most of the market as demand picks up. Yes there is huge growth potential, not only in G cloud but cloud in general. The problem is the market education to get the pace of adoption to pick up. The potential for cloud has been huge for the last 3 years and I absolutely believe it will come. I just think the timing is all wrong for OUT and they will get swallowed up by the big boys who are already in the market. Wait for the news on the new head of channel partners.....

I am not sure where you are getting "first mover advantage" from. As I have pointed out before there are other larger, well established, companies that already have this capability and are selling in to the public sector. Also you will recognise recently that Piers Linney has been calling for more Education around G Cloud. This in the main due to the lack of demand for the services throughout government organisations. Here is a quote from a December 2013 press article around G Cloud: Almost 90 per cent of UK councils and local authorities haven't made a procurement using the government's G-Cloud service, and more than three-quarters don't know what they'd actually use it for.
