Mac - amigo has bybrook (an ii) liquidating part of its CFD position (held via JPM) in to a weak market / weak order book, IK sold 1m shares in to an already weakened order book at bid, the drop was more from bybrook behind the scenes, but anyone selling at bid might have triggered a few more of the 80-90% long positions on leverage to be liquidated or stopped out too, the snowball effect of the combination brings the price down.

If IK placed smaller sell orders and waited he could have got a better price, but opportunities elsewhere don’t often wait, (and Good luck IK I think you will do well)

The same happens on the way up but the uphill battle in to inevitable sells is often harder without real underlying news driven change .

IMO, this is bottom or as close enough to not worry about any extra downside on the risk / reward ratios.

Absolute downside was always 0p, still is, and if it fails it will fail anyway no matter the entry point.
But the potential upside from 7/8p a about as high as it gets.

If you don’t want risk - don’t buy at 1-10p, but at 20p after settlement.

If you want the extra risk and are prepared to lose what you put in it’s potentially very rewarding from this point.

I’ve been buying again smaller then before, and I’ll probably derisk a few at ~12p.

We all know the risk, we all know the potential rewards.

Investment Update - Auction of Shareholding in Moly World Ltd

Origo hereby announces that it is putting up for auction its entire interest in Moly World Ltd ("Moly World"). Moly World is an unlisted BVI company that owns rights to mine molybdenum in Mongolia. Origo owns 20 per cent of Moly World's equity and has contractual rights to a board seat as well as other rights. According to the Company's former board's 2016 Annual Report:

One last idea that just popped in to my head as im skimming over the articles of association.

Maybe Sofina are buying up enough shares to ensure that they can put a chair-person of their choice in place?

Either way, if they want a lower average, they have to buy more :)

The 8% tr1 was nearly a month ago, I was pondering what % of volume over the period could be put down at Sofina on their own but as we know not all volume gets reported. (Ir blackrocks off boom sales )

Blackrock still have plenty of exposure to THG, looks like its merely moving its THG assets from one company it has a great interest in to another company it has an interest in.

if i was £370m down on my investment in 6 months I’d not want to talk it down more either, gutted I didn’t wait for the Black Friday deals to buy as it is with my small pot.

(Great deals on my protein, very cheap with that discount. )

Going by official information you get a very different opinion made very recently though.

yep, fully aware of the half % reporting threshold, even if they were sat at 0.49% before hand its interesting to see them still recently adding to their position, every short that goes above and declares gives a little more backing to Matts outburst the other week.

Seems a little greedy on their part to me at this level but thats why im losing money, while they are making it :)
