Morrisons take D4e, banks take D4e, £100m raised via D4e and everything is hunky dory, company stays listed and approaches market to raise funds again in a year or so.
In that year they restructure, sell off parts, close losing stores, convert more to Morrisons
No actual new cash needs to change hands till the inevitable cash raise from a stronger position and debt can be repaid from funds raised .
It’s a possible route.
Should carry on rising now till rns after hours confirms offer.
Then it dips / rises to offer price.
I’m out atm, but only because I’ve got paper hands and completed a profitable trade as intended.
Will rebuy any dip but I doubt they come now they need equity to push deal through a shareholder vote.
