Its not simply about the rig and the partnership they are in; the Directors are well connected in the region and will want to grow AMED. They have not used the £4m and that is a fair sum to have on your Balance Sheet for a few years unless there are looking to do something. The next couple of months should be interesting.

Still small trades but the market is still pushing up. Even at 30p the M/C is less than £10m and there is £4 in cash and a potential £15m plus if they sell the interest in the rig.

The market is very short of stock and moving on small trades by those who are aware of the potential. Once news breaks and more are made aware of AMED via the media then the SP could well have a massive rerating. Only those who follow the stock have are interested at the moment but this will change over the coming weeks IMO

If these are all sales we are seeing then the sp is holding up extremely well for a market that is not very liquid.

There will always be the profit taker but AMED I feel has legs. It has been overlooked and is now coming good from a very low sp. The investment it has in the yard is massive and following the sale of the rig monies will be deployed back into the yard and into new investments. MRG will also come good at some point and will begin to generate the vast profits it did when the investment was originally purchased. At 30p M/C is £10m but assets are double that and are generating a profit. The potential I feel is huge once the sale of the rig is complete. The problem I feel has been that the build has taken a long time and some small investors have tired and sold. That's about to end though.

Steady buying now so people are now getting interested. Should see sp tick up in larger amounts now we approach the 25p level. I feel the sp has much further to go but of even more interest will be the plans AMED may have for the coming year. Not only do they have quality investors but they also partner with influential businesses in the region.

Also 81% of the shares are held by major interested parties some of whom had invested at the last fund raise at £1 Even at 30p the M/C will be less than £10m and I am sure the major holders will be determined to drive AMED forward once the sale of the rig is complete. They may sell their investment in the yard but in any event the run up to the end of the year will be interesting and I still favour a price of 40p.

There is no debt - £4 in the bank and the yard in profit from work carried out since the completion of the rig. Sale of the rig should bring in substantial funds for reinvestment. MRG may well have found further commodities to broker.

These are due in the next few weeks and will show a further loss. There will have been no sales during the period as no builds have been completed. October to March wil also be a difficult period for sales so I suspect the Allenby earnings forecast will be missed and the market wil not like that. I can see 0.50p on its way unless we get a very positive update with the interims.

My understanding is that the rig will be paid for on delivery and at that stage any profit will be realised as well as the build cost. Loads of cash to YZJ to reinvest in further yard work or return some cash to investors such as AMED. If AMED did get a cash windfall then I am sure they would look to a new project as well as retaining an investment in the yard.

Key of course is the sale of the rig and what will happen to the proceeds. If AMED choose to sell their interest it could bring in 17 to 20m dollars to reinvest. But from half year figures yard is in profit so they may wish to retain. In any event the shares are substantially undervalued well covered by assets with no hope/potential fractured in. Corporate activity by the company would do wonders to put AMED on every ones radar

I feel £1 could be arrived at in the near future as the last fund raise was at £1. But in the very short term 50p/60p should be possible once the market wakes up to the fact that the investment in the joint venture could be worth £18m plus, and the investment in MRG are both in the sp valuation as being worth nothing. When the rig sale does happen the MMs will simply mark the sp higher so if the story is to be believed, which I think it should be then the time to buy or top up is as soon as.

Yes should move well and higher on rig news as market not very liquid. Also and importantly there is cash in the bank equal to the sp (no debt) and the investment in the rig/yard jv has been written down to about £14m. On sale this should show a profit so the investment could be nearer £20m. Also yard was showing a profit at the half way. If AMED choose to sell their share f the jv this could release a substantial sum for reinvestment.

Cash in the Bank is more than M/C and the investments are worth £14m. If they sell their share of the yard what would they do with up to £20m. The investment has reduced in value over the years as yard losses have impacted but it now looks to be in profit.

IMO a good update. Rig will be delivered during the next three months and will generate substantial revenues and profit for the invested company and benefit to AMED. Also interesting and pleasing to note that the yard made a modest profit undertaking non rig work. No doubt there will be an update when the rig sale completes and this should lift the AMED sp.

Only small buys yet the sp moves higher clearly indicating the market is short of stock and I cannot think of a good reason for anyone to help out. If there continues to be continued small buying this will push the sp much higher and in any event we could see a re rate into the mid 20p area based on asset value alone

A chum of mine has told me he tried to pick up 25k at 13p and was only offered 10k. Anyone know what a reasonable size is?

Ticking up ahead of the forthcoming update/Interims which will give a much better indication of the status of the rig sale. When sold this could release substantial cash either for reinvesting in the yard or returning part or all to AMED. I feel that once the sale is completed this will then determine the way the major investor wants to take the company. Not much liquidity so on positive news the sp could see much higher ground
