I do agree with amadan that the appointment of the new director to the Board could be significant. Why appoint him and why would he accept? Does he need the money?

I thiink what I mean by a smokescreen is that the ever positive outlook for finding a deal is or could be a fob off because in reality no deals are being considered. It could of course be my frustration. But amadan can you remind me of what specific sectors have been looked at and how many have received DD. Either the directors have no energy for a deal or the those who are looking for a target are failing to bring anything to the table. You have to work hard not to find a target after seven years. I will not sell my 2.5m because as sure as night follows day a deal will emerge within weeks of doing so.

There is always a trickle of small selling and you can understand why. There are always optimistic reports from the BOD of what they have done,doing and expect to do but there is never a result or even a clue as to what was looked at and why no deal came from it. Could it simply be a smokescreen? You would think with 5 directors of any standing would be able to seek a deal after seven years. It's a good job they never raised money from investors seven years ago as the cash would still be in the bank.

Still kicking but the same news from this BOD. I still feel we can do the right deal but as time moves forward I begin to wonder if the board have lost the purpose of the existence of RGP

More good news to come to add to the potential that is beginning to be realised. I will add further today as other prospects within the portfolio are even better.

Another problem is the need for further cash for working capital. They were already tight and this recent problem can only add to that so I suspect a fund raise before the year end.

Perhaps if not probably the worst managed company with a quote given all the opportunities it has had over the past few years.

We are highly operationaly geard and with even a modest increase in NFI and a tight control on overheads which RK has managed well over the recovery years together with a saving in interest could see profits double. Operational gearing is key and the benefits can be huge. The half year figures should send a strong indicator for the full year and the sp should respond well. At 3p KLN is still only at a £10m mc.

Should be due shortly as should the AGM. Importantly we may have news on any acquisition as I am sure progress continues on this front. Little interest in the shares so may be a time to add.

I still feel there will be an improvement in the trading performance of the yard which in the second half of last year turned in a good profit with MGR also improving. With cash in excess of the mc and no debt and assets of about 50p a share there is ample scope for a re rate IMO.

I wonder if the forthcoming AGM will tell us how well we will do from the Salvarx deal. CW who has an interest in Salvrx has added shares and no doubt sees the potential here with tax losses and an improving trading environment.

All a smoke screen IMO and I do not beleive the auditors will be satisfied by any info that comes from the banks. I rather feel the next RNS will mention administrators appointed.

Should they come back and for those locked in I hope they do I feel sure there will need to be a fund raise as cash must be seeping out. Or they could of course let the lotto business go which could command a decent price.

Not too sure why Andrew continues to increase his holding in CFN which is controlled by Caffyn Family Holdings Ltd. He may want to work his way onto the Board and capitalise on the disposal of the properties. Caffyns may of course want to fold their tent - no doubt they get approaches all the time.
