Antrebates: I'm also here for the LT as I am in a way following DB who more than most AIM Chairmen looks to be giving his all to the company. He clearly has his heart in UJO tells it as it is and never ramps it up and gives me the impression that he is a 24/7 man and is more than happy to get his hands dirty. He has built a portfolio of interests and is probably the most genuine and most respected person in the junior market place. Also if a genuine PI he always has time to take a call although he is on the road a fair bit. I know I bang on about the tie up with Humber and it's not intended to be a ramp as I feel this is the way forward. We will see.

We should not lose site of the fact that we have £23m of tax losses and if we cannot use them then we may find another more successful company taking us over. I have an interest in ADL and UJO and either could be interested as they both appear to be more proactive than BOIL. Any thoughts?

Yes we are a very low market cap business with assets of huge potential and as well as the drilling of BIS and Rathlin and the pending Wressel outcome our other assets also have potential to add to increasing revenues. Of interest to me is the potential acquisition of Humber which is almost certain to happen during the coming year. The Gersey based parant has 15pc and will end up with much more when we acquire Humber. Fraser who is already on the board will consolidate the assets of the two businesses and take on the roll of CEO. DB will continue as Ex Chair and UJO will become a major operation in the onshore oil business. These are of course my thoughts and I wonder what the thoughts of others may be.

Zaf is smart. Gets PIs to invest in 8P then invests that cash into investments such as AMED and NZ businesses, gets onto the BOD and then draws a fat salary. A man to avoid IMO

In just a few days interest in Colter could see BOIL nearer the 1p level.

Due tomorrow although the numbers will be meaningless. What will be interesting is any update on Indonesia and perhaps Badger. Colter dropping anchor in a couple of days or so should see the sp moving higher.

At the moment we are all focused on BISC and Rathlin although I'm not too sure when news will break in either case.
But we must remember that in addition we have other sites that are either producing or are being prepared for drilling. In addition we have Humber Oil with 15% and represented on the BOD and they are not their without reason. I suspect the day will come, possibly this year when they will reverse into UJO and bring their oil interest with them.

I must confess I had forgotten the further issue of shares following the acquisition and now we have them. Not too sure what the TVR figure is but I suspect the MC is about, or just under £2m. With the list of Directors - quite a few for a small cap company, I wonder if we can expect some further acquisitions once this one is bedded in.

Bisc spudded 7/1 with an expected result within 30 days, or week commencing 4 February. So any PI who would like to top up, or anyone watching may want to consider doing it sooner rather than later. Once any positive news is out in the public domain we can expect the sp to be substantially higher than the current 0.16p. We can also expect Rathlin to come in in mid February and to be followed by the further interest in Wressle. After that I would expect to see corporate news involving Humber.

Since the acquisition we have heard nothing from the company. The results are due to be announced in April if as per last year, so do we need to wait until then to learn of progress?

As for sp at 5p the MC would be a little over £18m; hardly expensive even if Colter does not perform as the other asset prospects will still be cheap at £18m. The trick is that any prospective PI that is considering buying into the story should be doing it well ahead of the rig dropping anchor as sub 1p will be long gone by then IMO

Cannot see a placing. The CEO bought £20k worth at the end of December and if a placing is imminent then he would have known that at the time and should not be investing ahead of market sensitive news. Close period etc.
What is a fact though is that the Interims must be out by 31/1 and we may well get an upbeat update. ADL is very much undervalued on the public domain info that I read.

Thanks 123. Yes a must buy IMO. Once the Rig is parked on site at Colter the sp could well be up to 1.5 without any anticipated oil find as more PIs become aware of the potential. Even without a material find Indonesia, as you say will have plenty to offer. Its really the current MC relative to the massive potential which attracts me. It may have a bad history with some but there are new wheels on ADL now.

Looks as if we could be heading to 0.75 - 0.90p again - there will be a further loss for the year I guess.

Am well into BOIL but looking very hard at ADL. I note the CEO bought £20k worth in December at about 0.66p and stated on VOX that Colter could be worth 10x the mc, or 6.6p per share. This prospective value excluded any value put on Badger or Indonesia. At the moment at 0.90p the MC is about £3.7m and seems to me that this is considerably undervalued! Or am I missing something. Any thoughts why I should not pile in?

Leaving the overseas interest out, this is now a punt on Colter coming in. MB the CEO has previous experience here and sounded upbeat in the Proactive interview a few months ago. At 1p the MC would be £13mish a number that would be well under any valuation on success. BOIL has cash in the bank and £23m of tax losses so ahead of Colter could look cheap.
