So what could it be worth for our 8pc? 20m barrels @ £50 less 60pc for the cost of production will leave £20 a barrel. That would be 8pc of £400m or £32m. About 2.5 p per share. Of course there could be more than 20m barrels and the cost of production could be less than 60pc. Factor in the £23m of tax losses we have and the next couple of weeks could be interesting for the sp.

They need to do a deal. Every year they thank shareholders for their patience and every year they say they are looking for corporate activity.

I simply cannot beleive that a business with a fair bit of cash, assets in the Southern North Sea and 8pc of a potential oil find in Colter can only provide a MC of £2.4M. There are shell companies with only a few hundred £s in the bank that that have a MC that is much higher. If I had £10k to invest and wanted to double my money I know where my money would go. Perhaps the MMS are keeping the lid on the sp and holding on to stock to benefit from any anticipated and substantial rise. And we need to remember that the MMs are in the business of making money not simply there to accommodate buyers and sellers.

Clearly needed to sell something to pay for CBs daily lunch.

Could well be and we must remember that RBD have an interest and are looking very favourable on the drill. Also we have other drill ready projects and increasing boepd from existing operations.

Would it be a good idea to get to those in the media to ensure they will not give CO any air time and if they continue to do so either make a formal complaint and also don't subscribe to their product or presentation

There are two types of investor here - those who beleive in the longer story and DB and those who simply buy in for the drill, pump etc and hope to get out at a modest profit. I as a LTH am happy to enjoy the journey, to see the revenues increase and watch for the results of the new field drills. I am sure that DB,Egdon and Humber are not too concerned about a short term gain but are looking to the longer term.

The way forward is to ignore CO although he will post and encourage other posters to respond. Don't be sucked in and he may go away. As far as I am concerned I am a long term investor and am supportive of DB and his management. At the moment we have producing wells which have further potential. We also have the potential of WN and the prospect that Wressle will come in positive. I think that Humber wants a quote so an RTO could be a likely event this year. It is of course always rewarding to pump and dump in the short term but I am here for the LT. Buy from frightened men and sell to greedy men! Someone who made a fortune once said that.

I listened with with interest to his interview and thought he knew something about what he was talking about. But it appears he is nothing more than a punter like so many others. But he seems to have the ability to buy into a stock initially, and subsequently be given the air time to pump it up whilst selling into a rising market. Clever or a rogue trader?

We have large investments in both Colter and West Newton and the results from both will be with us within the next couple of weeks or so. S & S are very well knowledges and it would not be unreasonable to expect one or both to come in and even beat expectations. We probably have enough income from existing and future earning from the US to wash over costs and huge prospects in Romania and money in the bank. Seller in the market or no seller the SP considerably undervalues RBD in my opinion.

From last year I note we can expect the results in April and the good news so far is that there has been no profit or trading warning of bad figures. Also and importantly candidates and clients have confidence in the company as they continue to place work or join the company. It is also fair to say that there is high operational gearing and once costs can be covered further revenues will fall to the bottom line. I have only been here for a few weeks but feel that the company with its new management has tremendous potential from the current £4m or so MC

Agree, so if all goes according to the plan then the end of Feb should produce a result. If it is good news then we can expect our 8pc to be worth a fair bit and sustancially more than current MC. RBD and ANDL are both enthusiastic about the drill although I must say that ANDL could be the most attractive play given their MC. However BOIL must have tremendous appeal - at 1p mc would only be £13m and we must remember we have £23m in tax losses to attract a successful junior oil company in any RTO. At 0.30p with. MC of about £4m it must be worth a punt.

DB is not the sort of person who would want to tell a story simply to please investors unless there was something positive. So in my view no news at the moment suggests that when they come out with an update it will be a complete result of the drill. At the moment any thoughts we have are speculative and any demands to try and get the BOD to update us I think is futile even if desirable. DB is as straight as they come IMO and tells it as it is and will not over egg the situation. I look forward to an RNS that will provide a comprehensive result rather than dribbling bits of news out. Also I seem to remember a poster saying that DB had hinted at early March.

The truth is we don't know. If we have hit oil then it may be they want to determine the quontom before any announcement and if no oil then perhaps we would have been told. If no oil then we can see a slip to about 0.10 but will have the prospect of West Newton and Wressle to come. On the other hand if a positive result the we could see the sp at 0.20plus. Seems to me a good bet at current levels.
