No ramping but if we are invested here it is because we believe in our investment. Stale Bull will tell us of the bad investment made 11years ago and the fact that he/she cannot get over it. Investing is all about hoping to make a profit but being prepared to lose. IMO we have the potential to see an excellent return over the coming months from existing production. As a bonus we have the potential of transformative transactions as SS tells us. Believe in the man he has been around for some time but be prepared for the Stale Bull to winge.

I think we need to forget about Steeltitan who unfortunately has a rather large chip on his/her shoulder that goes back some 11 years when a bad investment was made. An apt title should be Stale Bull.

I know that I bang on about it but not only do we have some good prospects but we also have £30m of tax losses. What we need is an unquoted oiler that generates income to pay the rent,is profitable and can take advantage of the losses to reverse in. And I think it could happen to our low cap BOIL.

No worries here as far as I can see. We are all looking at the Swan and never what is going on under the water. The potential is huge IMO. We will either try and progress the prospects we have which may need funding, or we will be taken out by our neighbours who no doubt would wish to consolidate their position in the region. In any event we are probably being watched by the majors.

Looking for positive news on the investee companies on Wednesday that should provide an uplift in the portfolio valuation.

Good to see C1 in and welcome to you. I first spotted this neglected shell more than a year ago even before the raise. It looks as if ASMO has attracted an interesting BOD and has recently appointed some serious advisors. The way this is looking is that a target or even more than one has been identified and the dots are being set out to join up. They have also mentioned that any acqusition will be made by shares . An interesting few months ahead for us and at the moment we continue to be below the radar which is not a bad place to be as experience has taught me and a friend I have in the North. Any news seems to be on the Aquis board so you may need to keep an eye on that. GL

No this came from SS in the Annual Report. You sound a bit like a stale bull Steeltitan who regrets buying but won't sell until he gets the money back. If a wise investor makes a mistake for whatever reason they will put their hands up and cut and run investing elsewhere in an effort to recover losses. I'm not a fan of ML but I am a SS, so I look at his way forward. Get out of the box, forget ML and look to SS. If still not happy take whatever money is left and move on. But please don't keep crying in your beard.

I think they have already told us of potential deals and SS by all accounts is well in the loop. Could be an interesting close as could next week as there does seem to be useful buying going on.

I am a new investor in this company having taken time to look at their investee companies which I am quite impressed with. - I have also listened to the CEO interviews. It looks clear to me that the sum of the parts could be much higher than the current valuation of FIPP on any disposals but by how much I have no idea. I do wonder however if they will need to sell some of the interests in order to save any heavy dilution should one of the investee companies need further funding. If I understood what the CEO said in his more recent interview the 24 March could provide an interesting update.

Bit of a dip in the sp over the recent past should be seen as a buying opportunity as far as I can see. MC of less than £4m and with Stephen Staley in the Chair - who is well respected in the industry - looking positively to the future with potential transformational deals (Not ML) we should be taking a positive view.

So you must have trebled your money during the passed couple of weeks Phillip1976. Perhaps you should have been wise and put another £3k in and followed the new BOD.

I would suspect that any deal was lined up at the time of the placing so we should know within a couple of weeks. Cannot see the current placees taking a position without knowing what they were going to do with the vehicle. Should be an interesting couple of weeks.

They don't need to raise £6m

The current MC of £21m in no way reflects the potential value of ZPHR. The BOD would not be sitting on 20% and CH would not have received the grants they have been given. They all know there is substantial value to be had and the current price of oil against the cost of getting it out the ground makes ZPHR one of the most attractive junior oil plays on the market. If I remember there was a Broker Note with a value up in the 20p range with more additional prospects to go after.

That's correct figures to 30 June '20 to be announced by the end of March but I wonder what has happened during the past 9 months. Money in the bank yes, but we need to pay areas of VAT and PAYE. Are we large enough to continue with a listing ? Why did the Directors have to put their hands in their pockets recently for a few thousand if there is cash in the bank? I really think we need to consider that the company as we know it could be somewhat different in six months time, or at least heading that way. Pity.

CH and his BOD are committed to ZPHR and as we know have some 20% of the business. By the end of March so the man said we will have an update. I feel it will be sooner as CH would not wish to delay news or give a time line he could not improve on so IMO we can expect some good news within a couple of weeks. There will be further good news as other prospects are looked at in the coming months so I expect the SP to respond positively. Don't we all
