It won't be FY2026 and with the Magna debt I doubt it will even be FY2027

By then they will be spaffing more money up the wall on some new vertical because only the EU has brought in legislation which will cap the market opportunity in auto and fleet.

I hate to break it to everyone but this cash breakeven at the end of the calendar year isn't going to set the SP on fire like people think it will.

Perhaps when they announce their first year of profit - that might, until then this SP is not going anywhere fast.

It also talks about hitting breakeven at the end of FY 2025 - this was an earlier target / prediction from PM which he then pushed back 6 months to end of calendar year 2025.

Notice how they haven't mentioned this figure for several months now and just refer to min contract values - clearly that was all make believe as well.

Yes the loss has improved slightly but it's still a whopping 50% of revenue

Also cast your minds back a couple of years and I am sure they were projecting circa 80m for 2025 and then 126m for 2026 - those were my expectations so they are miles off.

And as for keep repeating a strong pipeline for Gen3 - whio cares about the pipeline, I'd rather have 1 contract in the pipeline for £20m that we convert than having 100 contracts in the pipeline each for diddly squat that they aren't even converting.

I predict the SP will end the day down on that RNS

The article doesn't mention anything about the more stringent EuroNCAP or july2026 regs it just focuses on the 2024 ones which don't even stipulate it has to be camera based I don't think.

Agree it should be good news for SEE but there is always a chance more negative press like this will happen and then SEE will be tarnished with the same brush as everyone else - although the article does talk about OEMs having to improve.

It would be good if they follow it up with tests on brands like VW (the mirror) and BMW etc where it will show strong performance. Shame it won't stipulate whose behind the tech though

This is where SEE need to be working to get a similar brand/status to Intel in PC's along the lines of "Intel inside" to help reduce the possibility of being tarnished by negative press.

Next I assume you are going to tell me that you were aware of them in 2013 but didn't consider it was a wise investment at that point in time because you are such an expert investor and you knew the SP was going to drop down to circa 2p and that's when you were going to buy

The only reason I get to write the same stuff is because the company isnt delivering on what it said it would.

If contracts had been delivered, Gen3 launched successfully on time, breakeven hit by the original date, market cap grown to have a 0 on the end of it etc. I would be writing different things.

For the last 10 years there has always been someone like you Humster who has been happy to buy at these prices - people who started 10 years ago must have huge holdings.

I've always wondered at what point do these people turn from happy to buy at these prices to f**king hell I want to make some money out of this share.

I started buying in 2013 and turned in 2019 just before COVID as my holding was big enough by then - 6 years on and I'm still waiting to make a return on my holding

I don't care that since COVID I could have bought cheaper - I didn't buy because I have enough and my average isn't horrendous.

What I am frustrated by is the failure to deliver return which is only been exasperated by PMs rhetoric.

He had better deliver on his last interview and start announcing some contracts from these trails and mirror contracts - I don't know about OEMs running out of time 3 years ago but he certainly is. I can't see how it we are still down here in 12mths time and the kpi's aren't where he said they were going to be and breakeven hasn't happened how he can continue in the post of CEO
