The negativity is due to PM not delivering on anything he talks about but instead generating RNS for potential awards in 9 months and small fleet deals.

Lets not forget 6 weeks ago he talked about two large fleet orders in final stages of commercial negotiations ie we have won them just need the financials agreeing.

He also talked about 50% auto RFQ awards before Xmas, I assume he is going to claim the Japanese dev project as one of these. Whether this is a mirror one who knows but I don't it as it sounds like we are going to be the tier 1

Deliver on these fronts before Xmas and there will be nothing to be negative about but my gut feel is already telling me that they are not going to materialise again, for the 4,5,6th time, I don't know I've lost count it's been that many!

The kpi's had better be strong next week otherwise that will cast doubt over hitting breakeven

I would have thought the easier sell would be to those 330,000 EU trucks/vans/buses which due to legislation will need one fitting to every new vehicle from July 26

Another RNS for the kind of contract that should just be the norm without the need for an RNS

600 units this year and 700 next year from an existing customer - again not going to set the SP on fire

So a non contract OEM RNS and a pitiful Gen3 order equals crap KPIs next week

I'll be impressed when there is a Gen3 contract award for someone like Daimler trucks in the region of 50,000 units a year like the one PM allured to about 2 years ago

SEE have one camera in the mirror that does DMS and OMS via Magna

Are you trying to imply that Tobii is also working with Magna and this extension into China is Tobii and not SEE with Magna?

I actually think this is the better news from today.

In theory this should be large incremental business on top of the known VW business in the EU

It will add value much quicker than the Japanese OEM non contract RNS.

In fact it would be nice to get an RNS tomorrow from SEE announcing the expansion also applies to SEE

That is more likely to move the SP especially if it states millions of units within the next 12 months

Not sure we have had an RNS quoting millions of units before just Ive stating it in presentations.

No contract has been awarded, it's only expected within the next 9 months

Anything can go wrong between now and then in terms the development project

That RNS adds no value to the business yet

Articles like this are great and we all know what's coming in both auto and fleet.

But articles aren't going to move the SP.

Over to you PM to deliver these mirror auto contracts and huge fleet contracts of 50,000+ units

Yep - on its way back down as usual - probably because 4 weeks have gone since PM dangled the latest carrot about RFQ s in auto and two huge fleet deals in final stages of agreement and surprise surprise not a dicky bird about either.
