Perhaps PM should release something extra to clarify that, as in his interview he made it clear that it wasn't done to get to breakeven and is on top of getting to breakeven. It also hasn't affected the relationship with the OEM.

The only thing that is worth reading now is either an RNS stating a huge uplift on kpi's (not likely in Feb) or an RNS stating a huge new contract and who the f**k knows when that's going to be - certainly never when PM suggests anyway!

A 15m auto extension

And a 1m auto contract starting 2028

6 months to go until 300,000 commercial fleet vehicles need DMS fitting - whose supplying those - perhaps PM will update us on this in the next trading update?

I was hoping for a bigger bounce today now Trump has stopped being a di*k over tariffs as I thought the drop from around 5.3p was caused by that rather than profit taking

Quite frankly what is the point of sharing news about VW, Audi etc anymore - we know it's going in those cars and have to be in them well before July 26 due to lead times from factory to forecourt.

What is needed are some real decent new contracts and I hope there is one before the trading update in February, otherwise it's just going to be more of the same waffle about RFQs, mirror location blah blah blah

I see gentex have got a deal with Kia - good to see Magna made the most of being first to market with the mirror offer and bagged another VW type deal before there was any competition.....

I remember PM explaining the RFQs had been delayed because there was no competition that could quote on the RFQs which the OEMs wanted - well they have got that now and Magna have clearly lost out on Kia - what else have they lost out on?

Its the fleet contracts that should be coming thick and fast

Auto is all done for Jul26 and they are looking further out hence no time pressures on them to decide, just like the US where GM and Ford were leading the way but without legislation nothing has pushed them forward

Fleet however, circa 300,000 vehicles with very little announced as to who is doing what to hit the legislation deadline in July

What's happening with all those trials? Why nothing about the EU contract PM talked about in October? Who is going to provide the large truck companies from July? Rumour has it some are doing it themselves, how is that possible? How has a truck manufacturer got that expertise to adhere to DMS legislation?

So many unanswered questions on fleet.

Auto just needs to show a large ramp up in the KPIs along with confirmation of that Japanese contract, hopefully for 100m+

Without contract news there is at least another 8 months of this before the year end update which will hopefully show the profit made.

Magna debt will also hold this back.

Beginning to think it will be 2027 at this rate before any significant shift in SP, may even get bought out before that and go for less than 10p a share

It's not a fact yet - saying H2 will be profitable is not the same as achieving it and delivering the results

Just like it's no good stating that the latest US fleet contract has tens of thousands of vehicles when the hard commercial facts so far is 1,100 units sold.

Hasn't shell got thousands of vehicles? - how's that one panning out for us after all these years?

Now if the US company had legislation to adhere to then that would give me more reassurance, that thousands of units will follow shortly but they haven't.

So thankfully we have announced a load of fleet contracts in Europe to meet the Jul26 legislation.... Oh wait a minute....

The market can have no doubts then until they can due to past claims not materialising

In the short term we are reliant on contracts to move the SP and a resolution to the magna loan which again until finalised factually to ease the market it will still hold things back no matter how much spin PM puts around it.

Remember he has said before no new fund raises and then what happened
