I think the investor is a astute guy and has got our BoD between a rock and a hard place, as per the last investor. He's negotiating a even better deal for himself and also working out how to oust some of them out if does invest.

We need financing to start producing, once there is product there'll be plentiful uptakers- then again with our bod who knows, there the ones who can't organise a p-u- in a brewery. One the most optimistic macro-economic conditions for cu, Au and silver mining and we are still friggin fiddling.

Timmo- you have part answered your own question (Trumps flip/flop policy) but when you are investing $60/$70m you don't look at short term political games, you look at the long term potential of a project and it's intrinsic value and what kind of returns it is going to provide over that time horizon. by the time we are producing who knows what the situation with tariffs will be. It could be that users of Cu feel the pinch and they pressurise the government to lift tarriffs. There are many unintended consequences of such short term policy changes that no one has taken account of.

The investor we are told has apparantly signed all documents for the bond financing and only wants to have a look at the site to confirm the drawdown. Even if ok's drawdown today , we still won't be producing anything until next year. The tarrifs or no tarrifs should not affect the investors decision, it's only a temporary sentiment for traders.
