With regards to a moratorium on EFW facilities- It is important to separate out that the current application called in is not for a efw facility as such, it is for ancillary facilities for receiving and storing materials.
MG- thanks for your efforts on transcribing the presentation. appreciated.
I reckon the 900k buy after close is KL's buy, they've only got 0.96% left.
Typo on the previous post should be posing suspicious non questions.
It looks like KL are learning the hard way, they have cut their short position- I suspected with new derampers appearing and position suspicious non questions, expect a few more tomorrow to dampen the buying and let KL exit.
10m shares bought after close, wonder if its Kite closing their short, or someone else building a stake!
Shorts have closed, InterTrader opened on Friday, its disappeared, only Kite left with 1.16%. presumably will close tomorrow.
Earl- perhaps you can ask this question to the BH's and why are they so determined to get absolute control of this wreck, so much so that they are using all the dirty tricks to undermine a activist investor? they must see something worthwhile!
I reckon shorts closing and affiliates of Bod/ bondholders buying just in case they have to support them at the AGM. combination of factors leading to short squeeze me thinks.
Biffa, Serco- a couple of companies that spring to mind. Biffa sources/collects both domestic and commercial waste and treats as well as having energy recovery facilities (Traditional incineration and anaerobic digestion).
I would have thought Kite&Astaris are actively working to close their shorts in the next few sessions before it gets hot!
Whatever happened to the SRK report, which was commissioned by Vast to evaluate independently to satisfy Swiss Toni. "Vast has engaged with SRK Consulting (UK) Ltd. to prepare Scoping Studies, Preliminary Economic Assessments and/or Preliminary Feasibility Studies, as may be appropriate, for Baita Plai, Manaila, Carlibaba and the Carlibaba further extension with the intention of enabling independent evaluations for those assets, which will further highlight the potential of the Romanian portfolio." RNS 28/05/2019, I think they raised a £900k from shareholders for this and as far as can recall never made public the report.
And SABA capital continues to increase their holdings in CA.
Yes very interesting, have done a quick search on Saba, appear to be another active investment fund and this quote from their website: "Saba selectively pursues an activist approach where corporate actions may be an effective tool to unlock shareholder value and monetize the discount to NAV. Saba seeks to generate superior absolute returns compared to high yield ETFs and similar instruments."
Interesting Saba capital have increased their position in CRS and another 2m shares bought in the company just before close.
Casapinos- thanks for the info. much appreciated.
According to the article in the Guardian, GFG through SUEH's 43% holding have a right to appoint 2 directors on SAE's board- which directors are SUEH's ?
Thanks, guys- missed/overlooked that part of rns.
Am I right in thinking interim results are due this week, according to dates from the previous 2 years, they are overdue?
CA have a Tr1 out, looks like Saba capital increasing their holding in CA- interesting
