You are right in the sense that a DT is possible if you are seeking to Buy or Sell outside the NMS ( Normal Market Size) whereupon you can delay showing the trade for T+1 (hour). If it is a very large order there is a D+1 option ( Day plus one) until the order has been 'filled'. I don't think you can do any of this with on-line trading only when dealing by phone or through a broker. With your 1M Sell order, I would expect it to show on Monday. Why you would Sell is another matter given what will happen to Galileo this calendar year.
Don't be daft. That is just a 'procedural' RNS required within 72h of Warrants being exercised. It says and implies nothing negative about the fortunes of the company - which are excellent.
Grade ie everything when it comes to processing costs, waste generation and profitability and quite what Bacanora has to do with any of this is beyond me. Savannah are in Portugal not Africa. Get your globe or map out !!
Very simple really. The resource tonnage has increased dramatically but the grade is poor and barely commercial. Compare it with Savannah for instance - 50% of the average head grade for their Portuguese asset. Plus , of course, lithium is as popular as dog s---.
Nothing wrong with your analysis and unusual style but for some reason I cannot figure, I cannot open even one of the multiple links you have posted !!
Total waffle and pointless
A few days old but worth the read nonetheless. At least the link works :
https://www.mining.com/first-quantum-exercises-option-over-two-licences-as-it-looks-to-expand-in-zambia
Second largest but not commercially viable !!
Rubbish grades. Keep your money in the bak !!
Not at all. Resource base increased but have you seen how low the grades are compared to Savannah and other high quality projects ? This is a duffer.
Cyber- Excellent, balanced and objective analysis. I agree completely. AFP and GLR will progress well this year. XTR will have some catching to do but.... All we need is someone, anyone, to announce another new significant find in the locality. Additional that is to progress on our own owned or shared licences. This is warming-up well - if you are patient.
Can you possibly post links that work ?
AFP's next major move forward will not be with the FQM project anyhow. Ongombo will be fully permitted within months and then moving forward apace as CB will have secured the Capex required without shareholder dilution I am fully confident. the FQM Joint Venture will bear fruit 'big time' but will take a lot longer
Excellent prickly but why does it have to come from you ? They might at least have provided a Twitter update ( to get around regulatory control nonsense ).
Very significant this. Why would FQM do this unless they have intercepted significant grades and widths of copper-bearing core ? This could be the catalyst for something special.
Big day tomorrow. The start of a new beginning if shareholders vote with their head and not their heart ( or ars*). CB has made serious mistakes with BR, Manica I am not sure but back in his ( almost) native Zambia there is real hope for a recovery and shareholder value. Just hope we get regular newsflow and better PR than has been the case in recent times.
Well, I cannot argue against your logic and evidence !!
I can only assume that CB's quote in the recent RNS refers to the fact that all other juniors in the NW zone ( except GLR it would appear) have deals with a major - Rio, Anglo, Ivanhoe or FQ in the main - whereas XTR will be financially independent albeit there is a form of partnership with CooperLemon ( they being a sleeping partner).
Deal with the majors in the NW zone - Anglo, Rio, FQM and Ivanhoe - mean the junior partner gets funding, sure, but at a cost in terms of the level of control over progress and newsflow. This is often a big frustration for the smaller partner.
Interesting that the biggest land holder in this highly sought after NW copper belt is AFP - another CB company of curse
Given that CB is Chairman of GLR you are not seriously suggesting he would make that mistake in an RNS ? It is probably because the GLR property in NW Zambia is JV'd or shared in some way. The £5M is a real stretch by the way and not audited.
I should have added that the source of the CB quote is RNS Number : 3942C Xtract Resources plc 08 February 2024
It is not incorrect or CB is lying or mistaken. See below. What is your counter position ?
Colin Bird, Executive Chairman said : "We have recently embarked on an intensive exploration campaign targeting a discovery of commercial grade and tonnage of copper in a region of NW Zambia that is not only the subject of more intense competition than I have ever known for exploration ground but also the focus of attention for most of the world's major mining companies. NW Zambia is a proven host for large scale copper deposits and the geology of our Joint Venture ground is highly prospective. Zambia as a nation has set ambitious targets for copper production to underpin its economic progress and Xtract intends to become a part of that story initially by being the only junior company operating its own Joint Venture licences on a self-financing and independent basis"
