I didn't noticed who'd made that post until I'd read it .....that made me laugh.

Watching, I have to disagree even if an RNS dropped tomorrow saying the LFT was now fixed and back on the market I don't think at this stage it would add more than 10% to the price, for me for the time being until unless AVCT have a new product testing for something else that ship has sailed.

The public see the pandemic as more or less over now as does the market its all about Ukraine now, we clearly sold very little during the pandemic so why would investors rush in now over the LFT when most feel rightly or wrongly that the Covid time has passed. This share is about AVA6000 for the time being and the fact not much is going to happen on that front for a few months, so unless something new turns up in the way of licences etc I think we are just going to have to sit and wait.......but thats just what I think

The trouble is somebody is dropping in 25,000/50,000 at every opportunity and has been for weeks and this clearly isn't Jupiter because they have only increased once this year and would have to inform the markets within 24 hours if they were still selling and you assume they are following the rules.

It's unlikely that ii's are shorting this share because they can only sell up to 1.2m without it being declared so unless they are doing it with lots of different registered companies it doesn't seem worth their while.

What hasn't been mentioned is Naked shorting by the MM's which is allowed in the UK, so for my money if its not a large Pi holding being sold ( because as Ripely quite rightly points out there have been no Tr1's to date) its possible the MM's are shorting this share, confident that it will turn and when it does they will have plenty of shares to put back in the chest.

Mate you are deluded, if you want to help people why don't you pop down to your local St john's Ambulance, they will welcome you with open arms and they won't judge by your poor investment decisions.

It seems to me Sanijuelas that you are very worried about your own investments and have come to this board to try and justify your poor choice's by convincing yourself that other people's investments in other companies are also poor choices.....give it up

If Jupiter are increasing I'd be interested to know who they are getting there shares off.....its also possible that 'someone' could take advantage of the fall and buy some more knowing they are somewhat hedged.

No Zoom, I thought I was being pretty astute when having seen the SP fall from 2.80 I thought it would be a good idea to buy another 24000 at 1.24 to increase my holding to a round and significant number..... for me anyway (which actually increased my average) only to now see that investment halved in less than 6 weeks.

Well there's certainly and endless supply of shares to sell.....I wonder if they are not gone already included in the sells are the 18p placing shares......its pretty likely they've got hump, ..please AS no more investor meets or interviews ...lets stick to RNS's.

Well I was completely wrong for suggesting yesterday that the seller/sellers had maybe gone because they have already dropped 2 x £10,000 by 8.05. I think yesterday the selling was slowing so the MM's moved the SP up fairly quickly in the morning to give the impression that the SP was on the turn to entice buyers so they could then offload the sellers shares again in the afternoon.......Eventually it will turn (IMO) and our day will come.

Dare we say the seller/sellers have finally finished......dare we say the shorters are closing.....or have I spoken too soon.

I've said it before so it's not 'Knee jerk' but I really do think that its time that AS stepped aside and went back to doing more work as a scientist and AVCT brought in a seasoned CEO to take on the reigns,....in a nut shell, I just feel that AS see's his audience as the BMJ where as an experienced CEO would see his audience (quite rightly) as the Shareholders/Stock Market.

It is always a worry when AS goes public because these days without hard financial numbers the SP goes South and think its fairly clear that the LFT fix is some way off ...."we are searching for an Antibody"......and we are probably now seeing and will see the last of the LFT chasers leaving and maybe even the short temporarily extended.

I think what he is alluding to is that Jupiter increased their short just before Christmas at around the same time that LFT was found to be not as accurate for Omicron although the market was not informed until January.........so a very obviously a fortunate coincidence for Jupiter.

Unfortunately somebody at every opportunity has been selling chunks of around £20,000 for weeks so at the moment the SP just cannot get any traction, why they would continue to sell after yesterdays RNS I have no idea but they could have any number of reasons ....but it can't go on indefinitely

Investor meets where the SP tanked I just can't imagine that Avacta with a new PR company on board (who themselves will be now well aware of their IM history) won't release something before hand to get the SP moving.
We've had the jersey crew, FTI consulting and now Capital so it really is time Avacta starting acting like a listed company who's responsibility is to their shareholders and not a personal project born out of Leeds University and before everyone attacks I'm not criticising AS as person because he certainly appears as a very visionary Scientist .......but he has to make a decision soon as to whether he wants to stay as a scientist and bring in a seasoned CEO or step up a bit as the CEO
