Well clearly we all think differently but I think the Jupiter average was around the mid 1.30's and Bronte around 1.15, ...It does seem like there is a big buy order being filled in the background and you would think it would make little sense to leave the closing of the shorts any longer........but then again we all thought that opening the shorts when they did was madness.

I just hope this latest presentation goes down better than the last three

Yes Mr R I did see the update on Conifer but I'm not convinced that the Imfo we see on the AVCT website is necessarily always up to date...and I'm not saying that its deliberately not up to date......I absolutely agree with you regarding low volumes each day yet large percentages lopped off the Mcap and for me that clearly is manipulation by the MM's with the SP.

On that point, most of my holdings are in 350 companies but I have to say that I have never seen 'fake' closing prices with the UT trades on so many occasions like I have seen with AVCT which seems to be most days.....and that is something that can manipulated my MM's quite easily and does give in the morning ...often the wrong sentiment......we can all have our theories on that.

I think Road Runner has made some valid points....the fact is there are more sellers than buyers which is clearly the case and has been for many months and if that wasn't the case the SP wouldn't be retreating every day....... without large shorts (which we don't have) its just not possible to 'manipulate' a share price from £2.90 down to .43p ....the only way that happens is if more people sell than buy.

As Mr R pointed out Jupiter have so far off loaded something like 800,000 and it has not made the slightest difference to the falling SP, I have said a couple of times that I felt there has been a large seller/sellers for months possibly Conifer because they are already below 3% and don't need to declare maybe a large Pi holder or as Zoom pointed possibly the 'booboys' because they certainly got in cheaply (I would say sneakily) and would still be well in profit unlike most.

I think we are maybe looking at it the wrong way round...I don't think the MM's are manipulating the sp movement to let the someone in (Jupiter/Bronte) I think they are pushing it up and down to let someone out........I'm not saying I'm right but just its a possibility.

Crumbs it was down 13% on only 330,000 shares traded, and 100,000 sold @44.26, Jupiter etc up until now have decided not to add to their short whereas Conifer are below 3% so it could be them that's has been offloading because there is no need for a TR1.......or perhaps a large private holder.

Unfortunately the buying seems to have stopped because I think people are fed up with thinking its reached the bottom only to find that each day it keeps going lower.

an observation but it is very disappointing to see that having taken 7.5m traded shares in one session to move the SP 10p only a few days ago, after a couple of days of paltry volumes we have already lost 60% of those gains.

Interesting that Biosynex increased their holding in NYCT to just over 3% only 2 days ago......how lucky was that.

There was no declaration today so assuming they are playing by the rules that means that none of the 'rebound' we have seen has been any of their doing and I find that encouraging because A) If we can build a solid base here at some point soon having missed the bottom they may well decide to close....and B) it means that when they do close we will see the SP rise still further again.
