Love this. And the bashers are too thick to realise that the lack of a share price pump so far this year is down to the MMs realising that a raise is unlikely to happen. So instead the MMs content themselves by buying and selling within within a well defined 1.2p to 2.3p range. No raise to pick up cheap shares, so they have to trade within a range instead.

It was 2.3p at the end of May this year. When there is so little volume the Mms can do what they want with the share price unfortunately.

This year is different to others though - in previous years they pumped the share price in the first half of the year in anticipation of a raise. That allowed them to dump the shares they bought during the winter lows, and then to buy in cheaply again on the raise.

Proquo ; with typically very low volumes, it's the professional money which moves the share price sharply in either direction.

Take 2023. We had the Feb raise, and then in just a few weeks the share price was pumped up to 7p by early May. And then it tanked soon after. The professional money has been inflating and deflating the share price balloon for years according to how they can best make money from this.

And in November last year a perfect opportunity was given to them to tank the share price after that ' disastrous ' RNS. All ready for accumulation over the winter period.

We have had a few mini pumps since the start of the year up to around 2.3p - that's happened three times this year already, however the professional money can't count on a raise this year like they have done in past years. So I believe that they have been accumulating recently in case of a JV/buyout announcement which will give them the opportunity to pump the share price once again vigorously, giving them liquidity to sell those accumulated shares into. This fall back to the 1.2p resistance again was a sign of this. We may just get another mini pump to 2.3p again if there is no announcement of real significance. We are in a range right now of 1.2p to 2.3p.

Remember that weird sudden 50% increase on new news earlier in the year ? That was the professional money suddenly pumping the balloon.....and then they promptly deflated it again.

In previous years the professional money would also have accumulated again straight after a raise, having dumped their shares during the pump stage prior to the raise.

In the first few months of most previous years the professional money has anticipated a raise before say June. So it has pumped the share price in order to dump the shares accumulated during the winter shut down lows. Pumping the share price created the liquidity to sell through stoking up FOMO amongst retail.

This year however the professional money will be anticipating either a JV or buyout, so IMO it's been creating the liquidity to accumulate through keeping the share price nice and low in the first half of the year. This way weakholders can be panicked out of selling their shares.

Tt1981 ; absolutely correct - I can't believe that everyone hasn't filtered Doc and Adw yet. It helps keep them on here. You will find that they never filter you though - they need material to troll off.

Judging by the replies on here who haven't filtered the t**t, the sociopath/narcissist Adw is taunting shareholders about being underwater again. Of course he has no idea seemingly about what paper losses or gains are. And unlike him, some of us are financially well off enough to be able to wait. I have had a paper loss every single year since I started holding these shares, and at some point in every year I have also been in profit.

And another thing he taunts about is ' wasting 5 years of your life ' or whatever, holding the shares, as though someone bought in one lump sum say 5 years ago and has held ever since. I started in late 2019 with 3k and have drip fed in multiple tranches spanning several years. And in the time span since I started out in 2019 through buying a few shares, I have run a business and had a house built which now has quite a lot of equity in it. Meanwhile, he has no doubt sat in his bedroom during that period, trolling on his keyboard, as well as seemingly crystallising a loss with his MATD shares. Lol.

Sounds like he is one of the 8m or so people of working age in the UK who can't be bothered to work, and spend all their time in their bedrooms tapping on a keyboard.

Absolutely correct. Yet many still stick their heads in the sand about this when it's so obvious.

Gravy - if "doc " is invested in BME, then he might want to take note of what someone posted on that board about it ;

And no comments by "Doc " on the board of the company he is invested in apparently. Only on here. That's because he is malicious towards the MATD shareholders, and enjoys trying to make them feel uncomfortable. Dark triad personality traits by the sound of it - just like his buddy, that Adw person.

When the professional money is accumulating with larger amounts than PIs typically buy with, it has a problem with the low liquidity of low volume micro caps. Plus when accumukating larger amounts the professional money can move the share price against itself easily. So the liquidity to buy has to be engineered through "incentivising " PIs to sell up. That's why we are bumping along at such low levels at the moment. Accumulating stock without moving the share price against you, and with very low volume levels takes time and patience.

Once they are ready to sell they will then create the liquidity to do this through a rapid mark up of the share price. It will be some kind of news which will present the opportunity to do this, and will very likely be preceded by a vicious down spike once the news is released in order to mop up shares cheaply through hitting stops.

Hamm ; it's not sentiment caused by an RNS which drives the share price. So the phrasing of an RNS by MB is a red herring. It's how the MMs manipulate and engineer sentiment which is the true story of what goes on. Stoke up sentiment in one direction and you create the liquidity to buy with a stock which normally is pretty illiquid due to the low average volume levels. Stoke sentiment up in the other direction and you then have the liquidity to sell shares.

The MMs control the price action and hence PI sentiment.

Anyway, it's nice to make sense of the price action over the last few years. For me it's like putting together the last few pieces of a puzzling jigsaw.

The MMs to date have worked according to patterns - letting the share price hit lows straight after the drilling season is over in November usually. Pumping the share price in spring in anticipation of a raise. However, I believe that pattern may now be broken due to the company becoming a producer and now having income. Plus the JV/buyout talks. If there is a JV or buyout announced, then I think there will be a significant surge followed by the usual pullback. The question then will be whether the pullback turns into yet another spike ( as happened throughout the history of the price action of this company ) or whether is just becomes pause before another strong leg up.

Going back to the pumped share price that we've always tended to have in the first part of previous years, no doubt that's been because the MMs have always anticipated a raise in the first half of the year. Normally this has worked like clockwork every year, as a raise was always required at some point in a given year.

I would guess that the "pump spike " allowed them to dump shares they were holding at elevated prices due to the FOMO suddenly stirred up amongst PIs ; " this is really it this time guys, we wont see prices like this again.Get in there quick etc. " And of course this helped MATD with its raise as well. Then the MMs could simply accumulate shares again straight after the raise. Job done.
