MONI ; I fear that you are right. IMO there's a sustained effort in place to get rid of as many PIs as possible.

I agree Proquo - and that's why the manipulation happens, as many investors in Aim are cannon fodder really.

And it's so easy to stir up panic and despair, or conversely FOMO amongst PIs - both sets of emotions work in favour of those doing the manipulation.

Abzzba ; It's beyond belief that the share price now is 1.1p compared to a 2020 peak of 4.8p whilst covid was raging, with the borders shut, no income, no production and no legal consent to do anything in block 20. It's downright fraudulent.

The share price is under attack - and my guess is that it's a sustained attack designed to get as many LTHs as possible to sell up. There's prob less than a thousand LTHs, and someone, or some entity wants rid of most of them.

2.3p at the end of May - less than half that now with income finally coming in.

And a share price several multiples of the current share price higher early during covid, with the borders shut, no income coming in, the employees taking pay cuts in order to keep the lights on, and with no local access consent or 25 year special purpose licence in place.

The company and its share price are not just under a sustained attack solely from the bashers on here...

Aceofaces ; I use B&M a lot. It's a really good store. However a few are fed up with this Aquiloon trolling on other boards of companies which he is not invested in. So we gave him a taste of his own medicine, and if need be will continue to do so until he desists.

Shame that you are seemingly encouraging him. I personally wouldn't want Aquitwat as a fellow investor. He's as thick as it's possible to be - can't even spell correctly.

Shame this has been down over the last few days, given that we have a troll called Aquitwat on the MATD board, who is so dense that he persists in spelling " loser " as " looser " when he taunts the MATD shareholders, despite having his error pointed out to him several times by several literate people. Apparently he's invested in this one.

IMO Aquitwat being invested is not exactly a ringing endorsement of BME !

It's quite possible that Doc, Wigster, Adw etc ( if Wigster is actually just a buddy of Doc's ) have formed some kind of a syndicate focused on profiting from a raise. So they work collectively towards " promoting " that end.

Going back to intelligent debate re the price action in 2024 - of course the MMs going into the year would have known that historically there had been a raise every year, and that a raise would be most likely near the start of the drilling season.

This is irrespective of them knowing for sure when a raise had been determined and was imminent. Word would have gone around quickly once MATD approached the city boys touting for buyers at the right price for a raise.

They have a very similar style of writing, and their posts are full of exactly the same kind of sarcasm and cynicism. Wigster loves to mock the use of charts and TA as well - just like this " Doc " character does.

Ok - looking at the price action in the first half of 2024.

At the end of Dec 2023 the share price was around 2.8p.

We then had pump no 1 on no news up to around 4.5p by mid January.

Then we had the dump to around 2.7p by the beginning of February.

Then we had pump no 2 to around 4.5p by the middle of March on no news.

Then we had the dump to around 2.5p by late April.

Then we had pump no 3 to around 5.4p after the late May RNS. And then the dump down to the 2p placing level.

The MMs would have known all about the raise many weeks prior to the June raise, and we had a series of pumps which they would have been selling into.

The point is that they sell into the pumps, as the sudden FOMO creates the liquidity for them to sell large batches of shares into.

Wigster the snake in the grass - a buddy of Doc's. In fact he may well be the same person.

Adw has no idea about how the share price is pumped prior to a raise, as he's not bright enough to notice patterns of price action, except to obsess about it on any given day, which is useless really.

If he did realise, then he would know that his much longed for raise will actually inflate the share price for a while. In his world a raise would happen from a low, like we are more or less at now. So therefore it would have to be sub 1p. That's how his mind works - same for Doc, and all the others who have never bothered to study patterns of price action. Check out every raise going back years - the share price was always pumped in the weeks leading to the raise, including the one last year, when the share price hit its peak in early June.

The likes of Doc going on about how " when there is a raise it may have to be sub 1p " etc are ignorant about MATD's price action anyway. The irony is that an imminent raise would signal a sudden pumping of the share price by the MMs, like they have always done in the past. So the hopes of the negs and traders of getting in at a really low sub 1p price has always been a fantasy anyway.

Why do the MMs pump it when they get wind of an imminent raise ? Well, they will hold stock in their inventories which they bought at differing price levels. So a pump allows them to get shot of all that inventory, and then accumulating again once the price tanks down to the placement price level.

An example - the MMs hold an inventory of shares at an average of 3.5p. So it's pumped up to 6p, with them selling in batches into the demand as the price shoots up from let's say 2p to 6p. Once it's all been disposed of with a healthy profit, then the price is tanked back down to a placement price of let's say 2p and then they stock up their inventories again.

It's a good point what you have said. Word must go around in the city when a company is touting for buyers with a view to a raise. The MMs then get wind, and duly ramp the share price in order to create the liquidity for them to dump the shares which they own, and then probably they buy in again once the share price has tanked to the placement price.

I do have a suspicion that the " bullying " might have something to do with voting rights. If PIs are shoved out of owning shares through price suppression, then a large shareholder could take advantage. Otherwise a large holder would presumably also want the share price to increase - unless of course a large position has been taken by an interested party which might have its sights set on a buyout, by proxy .....

RG27 ; well done for getting in on RR. I looked at it when it was about £1, but gave too much weight to how much debt it had at the time, plus it having come close to it being nationalised during covid. I think for a time in 2022 it just went sideways.
