As far as I'm aware, there are no shares available to borrow, so there cannot be any shorting of the actual shares - only via derivatives such as CFDs, however derivatives have no effect on the asset they are derived from.

However, the MMs like to flip shares between the bid and the ask when the price is quite stable. They can buy on the bid and sell on the ask, so can flip the shares within the spread without much risk of being saddled with too many shares in their inventories.

Volume levels are much higher now.

Peterpharma is a good example of something he actually posted about himself recently. He mentioned how people who try to bash a company for their own purposes end up missing moves because they take on such a negative state of mind.

So Peterpharma does multiple posts recentky about how how incompetent MB is and how badly the work at H2 has been carried out to the extent that he sells up today on the Gazelle news and completely ignores the now massively improved prospect of an imminent farm out deal on really good terms.

We are already now a more attractive proposition than Soco were back in 2005 when PC bought out block 19. They were extracting just 350 barrels from some 27 wells. Yet PC bought block 19 for around 150m USD adjusting for inflation.

ANd block 19 turned out to be a hugely lucrative and productive field once PC took over. In fact by far the best producing field in Mongolia.

With Gazelle producing we will most likely no be extracting more oil than Soco were managing from their 27 wells in Block 19 when they were bought out by PC for around 150m USD in 2005.

By the end of October this company will for the first time have become a free cash generator. A real milestone.

Farm out on great terms hopefully assured now.

Funny how some people think you can have a sale without a buyer. And the MMs generally don't like to hold many volatile microcap shares in their inventories in case anybody mentions this.

Hamm ; I'm optimistic that a farm out on decent terms will make a big difference to the share price, however I wish people would give up with predictions of exactly where the share price will be, such as your " it could make the share price 10x bigger or even more. Yes — depending on the terms, the upside could be much, much higher."

I mean you were predicting 15p when the LP was granted, and 40p on production at the beginning of last year weren't you ?

Generally speaking, the price action with this company has always been hugely unpredictable.

Somebody who bought in to RR in say 2018 would have been more than 90% down in mid 2020 and more than 300% up by now had they not listened to any trolls who may have been mocking them during the COVID period.

Recovery plays are always based on a significant shift in earnings such as what a farm out and/or a sale of some renewables projects would bring about for MATD.

Essentially the worst trolls on here are haters.

Sooner or later that same hate will boomerang back on them and then manifest in their own lives. Probably as a chronic disease of some kind....
