It's clear that the MMs have pretty well exhausted the stock in their warehouse. They pulled the trick of a 25% pullback from the 5p high straight after the RNS in order to hoover up cheap shares from those unwise enough to place stops anywhere between say 4p and 4.8p.

Now they have next to no stock, and it's getting hard to keep the price tethered down.

Professional ; given that you boast a lot about your ' profits ' how about disclosing how many trades you have made day/swing trading PM to date, and giving an idea of your so called profits ?

I mean there have been lots of opportunities to trade PM even since just the start of 2024, with all the price volatility which traders thrive on. One example recently was when the price touched 4.4p and then tanked after an RNS release to something like 2.8p - a shorter's dream. So how many long and short trades have you made, and how much have you made ? It would be good to know, as the considerable time investment that you have spent on here doing hundreds of posts relating to PM must have really paid off for you thus far ?

Of course the time you have 'invested' on here is time not invested in finding all the other numerous trading opportunities out there - there are more than a dozen every day on the Nasdaq alone....Typically a few of them intraday multibaggers.....So I hope you have traded PM multiple times and made a return on the hundreds of posts on here. Otherwise I might think that you are no more than an attention seeker.....

Unprofessional ; considering that as a supposedly a highly successful short term trader you are weirdly posting trollish comments at 21.10, and considering that you seemingly aren't literate enough to know the difference between ' too ' and ' to ' I somehow don't think very many will be paying rapt attention to what you think or write....

Why not seek attention somewhere else ? Or get help....

Unprofessional ; Wrong. I have intraday traded the FTSE and the Dow with futures contracts. Plus hundreds of trades with the likes of Cityindex.

I knew a lot about charts and technical analysis long before I started studying strategies for day trading Nasdaq stocks.

One thing's for sure - if ' professional ' was really a professional intraday/swing trader, he wouldn't have time to do 2,844 posts on here :-)

Professional ; what part of the Mongolian parent company ( the Petrovis Group ) happily offering a soft loan drawdown facility to its subsidiary company ( Petro Matad ) don't you understand ? And PM hasn't used this facility yet. You keep talking as though PM is a simply an LSE company which is entirely foreign to the Mongolians, and can only raise capital via raises.

You seem to enjoy being wilfully ignorant for no other reason than you enjoy attention on here....

Manx ; yes, I remember you raising this subject a while back.

I am intending soon to have a go at day trading micro cap Nasdaq stocks, so I've been monitoring micro cap share movements nearly every trading day since January. Typically, the best performers are multi baggers in one single day following some kind of news catalyst. The lower the float, the more you get a supply imbalance, which can put a rocket under the share price. Price action with these micro caps is extremely volatile, but intraday and swing traders thrive on volatility - try day trading BP or Shell shares....

IMO PM's current share price would be significantly higher if it were listed on Nasdaq instead of the LSE. Lots of LSE listed companies have delisted and relisted on Nasdaq instead.

If you watch micro cap stocks on Nasdaq - such as typically biotech companies - they often get a big share price lift on news catalysts. There is simply far more financial muscle going into the Nasdaq market than the LSE. I think that the LSE has had its day.

Roxy2020 ; I wouldn't be surprised if BP and so called ' Professional ' are one and the same person.

Anyway, we seem to have support at either 4p or maybe 4.5p which is good.

Doc ; I'm expecting that sooner or later old resistance will become new support. It's a phenomena in technical analysis which often happens, as short and medium term traders are very closely studying the charts. Plus you can get a short squeeze at a well established resistance level - if it punches through the level, then the shorters get their margin calls and have to exit through buying back. This gives extra volume and impetus to the up move.

So we will see now whether it will hold with an intraday low of 4.5p - indicating that this has become the new support level. So if on the next RNS there is another 25% pullback ( courtesy of the MMs and the algo bots ) hopefully this time it wont breach 4.5p. We should be seeing a gradual uptrend now on the charts to the point that you can draw trendlines on the new highs and lows.

We seem to have established a new support level at around 4p, which is good news. Previously support was around the 2.5p level, with a range of 2.5p to 4.5p. We still have the strongly entrenched resistance at around 4.5p and the price is lingering around that level currently.

Of course the characteristic of an uptrend on a chart after drawing in some trendlines is successively higher highs and higher lows.

Barno61 ; re that 2023 report. Velo was a duster, so the valuation is currently around 23p for Heron.

Master - it was a 25% drop wasn't it - from 5p at the peak down to 4p support.

The fact is that penny shares are super volatile, with the MMs constantly playing around with any kind of penny stocks with relatively light volume. Thickly traded stocks such as you see in the major indices don't give the MMs anything like the scope to manipulate the price action. The price volatility of PM in the last year has been 400%.....

There will probably be another sharpish pullback following the high, immediately after the next RNS, and I will most likely adopt the same strategy that you have just adopted after this last RNS.

The main thing for me in terms of the price action is to see whether we have solid support at the 4p level. If we have then that's great news going forward. To me that's the smartest strategy right now. However IMO knowing if there is strong support at say 4p makes it much easier to predict what will happen, and what to do on the next RNS.

Hamm ; cheers. I hope that you will reap the rewards with your long term holding. I think you and the other LTHs - including me - will - the biggest hurdle has been cleared.

I'm hoping that we now have an entrenched support at 4p to build upon. That's an improvement over the previous support at around 2.5p.

If someone dumps a large sell order in one hit on to the market then they will move the price against themselves without their order being fully filled. So they drip it in if it's a trading desk. Same when they buy quite often.

Not possible to buy any with HL right now - MMs are short of stock.....
