The thing is - for those who bought RR below £1, the divi is exceptional. While I wouldn’t advocate holding too much RR in terms of overall portfolio % , a good divi and growth seem to be its thing.

Diageio - is very reliant on people - who drink- having money, and Raspberry PI was last weeks news.

But I agree that a good diversified portfolio is healthy. But that said – a lot of money has come out of the US markets over the last year - moving to over world markets –not incur FX issue – the UK market looks good, particularly since its got some strong divi stocks

I’ve just been reading his post history, it morphs from a ‘dummies guide to Mendacity and Hypocrisy ‘,, to an exemplar of early on-set dementia. There is a clear mood swing around covid time, with an ever increasing aggressive tone, which coincides with a significant decline in his comprehension skills . I almost fell sorry for him. Oh well, bed time, Can't wait for his reply tomorrow :)

Bertie don’t get drawn into some petulant conversation with the Aim trader I’m guessing it’s him as all he is doing is trying to wind people up , I’ve been an engineer at RR for over 20 years but am retired now and I’m sure he knows nothing about the products, just filter the guy he has only just been on this forum for a few weeks and has turned it into a show hence why I filter idiots like him do the same mate good luck

I'm not an employee but my wife is and we both buy shares even if they are not a sharesave I take it that you don't purchase shares through any other way we have had a holding in the company since 1987 so we are long termers and purchase when we feel it is value ,why not buy some?
