RE: Why the rise in May 25?15 Oct 2025 22:57

"Can anyone explain the reasons for the sharp rise to 55per share in May 2025 please?"
Greed, advertising and foolishness!
The Board of Directors arranged to sell 500 million cash warrants for 2p.
This gave an income but allowed the equity holders to buy shares at 2p regardless of the share price as long as the warrants were exercised within a time limit.
A BIG advertising campaign began, paid for by...guess who...someone who was going to gsin. Met1 said not them. Articles appeared to be coming from bona fide financial magazines. They were adverts with preposterous claims.
Retail investors began buying in their droves, the share price rose and others saw what was happening and fear of missing out added more to the pile in.
Rampers on share boards added to the enthusiasm. Many buyers seemed oblivious to the earlier company news that warrants would soon be sold massively watering down the share price as hundreds of millions of shares at 2p a lot were added to the pot. Another 250 million pre paid warrants (shares) were issued at 2p each. The share price could really only do one thing with this massive downward force being exerted. Yes, go down.
If you add up the cash and assets Met 1 has it is apparently worth about 1.75p per share and going down...plus something nebulous called hope, hope that just possibly the small amount of drilling they are doing might be worth something.
Hope that helps.
