No easy explanation because S&R levels depend on which technical analysis you are using.
Many use Fibonacci for example.
In essence it is about what has happened historically.
Usually an asset that sees a significant move will retrace to technical levels.
It will backfill I.e. do a bit of profit taking before resumption of up move.
Resistance is usually long term levels that have been difficult to break. The
But once broken then the uptrend is confirmed and away we go to new levels.
Look at the long term charts - years and you will see a pattern.
