Just to note that I don't agree re DB. I'm actually very impressed given the timescales with the BC, PHE, MH, and (let's see) UNICEF deals. They're just what I wanted to see him do.

(Yes I know PIs also want regular Comms, and that is why the SP has suffered more recently, but I'm not one of those bothered with it. Rather they continue working on the products and deals than engage in the kind of contentless update some companies to. Jmo)

Afternoon maestro, hope you're well? Whilst you heavily monopolised this board a while back (please for our sanity don't do that again!), I seem to remember you were always polite, good on you. Hope whatever you're invested in is going good.

Placing always possible, but for the sake of discussion here's how I see it and jmo

1/ no debt, and funds going forward mean no placing needed as yet unless for purpose of further product development, which could be positive

2/ known partnership with BC & Cytiva, known inclusion in PHE framework (plus for ex the UNICEF that we think we know about) mean that funding should be available from other sources if required. This is no longer an early stage company, we have products out there at commercialisation stage.

3/ Walbrook confirmed the other day as I recall that all this talk of placing was just social media chit chat

I'll only be worried if a certain poster and his ever changing exclamatory posts disappears

In the meantime, we are inching towards my expected time for some news, end of Jun. The frenzy here every morning will I anticipate continue until then :)

Er, no. If you read and understood for example the report from Ireland I posted up yesterday, you would be much calmer about the future here. It clearly stated the limitations of lft's and showed why the PCR space is so important going forward for covid. I don't think you want to understand the timescales in this business or the ongoing landscape for the business. I think you just want to throw toys until you get your sweets. Believe it or not, the positive here are 'mostly' NOT rampers, we're here for very good reason.

The directors purchased shares twice last year, in February and again in the fundraise in May. We have been in a closed period since May due to insider information (which is quite normal in a small company).

Yeah Jimi, the FDA have already been de-authorising some of the older tests. A lot of them don't have multiple targets unlike the GDR test, and are missing variants now

I was wondering where he was getting that. As stated, both boots (GBP 120) and CVS (USD 130) last I looked anyway have been charging much more than that to customers.

The kit itself can be bought in 10 packs of 96 well plates from BC for GBP 14,950 i.e. GBP 15.58 per test, leaving a potentially very good margin for the labs/chains unless I'm miscalculating something

Of course, your investments your choice drlong. As you can see my instinct here is the other way, but each to their own.
